Jets today, 42 yards rushing (2.2 ypc). Great job by the defensive line today stopping the run.
Worst FA signing ever.
I liked his play but not his price tag!!!
let me tell you something , all the young katz... got the dawg in em but GODCHAUX ...whoo ooohhhh that boy there!!!
I don't really ever rejoice when you remove talent but Suh was probably one of the more overrated DT's I've seen. I'm not really so sure I like a guy at DT who makes slightly more plays than your average DT and gives up more than your average DT by being out of position, amassing stupid plays, and getting offsides penalties since part of your secret is just to try and jump the snap every play.
Never flinched....godchaux and taylor flashed just as much to me last year..even philips
I like how that Dline is playing. Yes, even Phillips.
I thought stopping the run would be our Achilles heel, but maybe this rotation based approach can work.
LBs playing as well as can be expected too.
So far so good
Its always a good thing when Tannehill has more rushing yds than the whole Jets team. We played 2 really good power running teams..
Similar thoughts on Jarvis landry?
I made this comment after we cut Suh and was laughed at.
Good to see a faster DL getting it done.
Don't miss him or his penalties one bit.
Same here. Said the successful DLs in the league use a rotation and have no problem, there's no longer a need for a singular focal point of the DL.
Taylor and Godchaux have been absolute STEALS so far and the FO doesn't get enough credit for hitting on those two in the back end of the same draft.
The difference is the new DL Coach, KK.
I think there is
a lot to that.
D linemen aren't meant to be cute, or finesse. They need to be junkyard dog nasty. It's good that their position coach reflects that attitude.
