That's right The Fins are one of the few teams that have no serious hitting or any tackling during the Pre season training camp drills which showed Sunday with getting hit hard and not holding on to the ball ( A La Fasano) and being man handled by the the Falcons D Line

Granted everyone came out of training camp healthy but you need to have some training camp hitting to go when it counts

This thread has already been started also....

the Eagles are about the only team in the NFL that tackles to the ground....so the other 31 must be doing it all wrong.

You may have something, but I am not buying it. 4 preseason games, not to mention these guys in some cases have been playing organized ball for 15-20 years, they should not "forget" how to tackle. I think you have to weigh it against how healthy we have been over the past 2 years. Coaches can stress fundamentals and see improvement quickly. I think it matters more to keep them fresh.

Did you see the Eagles D in the first game? Enough said IMO

I agree they SHOULD tackle...maybe not every team but this one sure NEEDS to....

You mean the Eagles D that is slammed with injuries? The D that lost their starting ILB and DE during TC???

So the 4 preseason games are touch football games??? Last time I checked it was full on Tackling....

If you watched that game closely you would see that Peterson hit Fasano really hard at the right spot to jar the ball loose. Not Fasano's fault...just a good defensive play.

We tackled ok in the Atlanta game, wit the exception of a few plays.

I seems there was also a no blocking policy in training camp too. Our OL was lathargic.

Too Dark, i always have a hard time reading your posts...there is this big beautiful thing out to the side to the left that is pleasantly distracting......what was i saying?
