I keep reading about us trading picks for players..........We cannot continue trade away trade picks......this will only ruin the building process of the team.............trading is what got us in the position that we are in now.............

Who are you referring to..what trade is in the pike...I think the Green thing has cooled down.

Totally agree. We have four picks in the first three rounds. We've only had five picks in the first three rounds in the last three combined drafts. That's sad.

That is why the Phins are 19-39 over the last three years. Please no, do NOT trade away our picks!!!!!

GO PHINS~!

But see, here's the thing, I know we shouldn't trade away picks. But i wouldn't mind giving a 3rd or 2nd {61} for Randy Moss.

We haven't had a bunch of picks, but we have had more than that. We only had 5 in the last 2 drafts and currently we have 4 in this one. Trust me, teams like Washington have had less picks.

But agreed, we need to keep our picks and develop these guys.

Why when if we wait a couple extra weeks we would get him for free if we wanted him so badly. It is just like JH I wanted him but as a cut player. Wich he definetly was going to be. Moss is in that same boat (maybe Green too). We need every pick we can get at least until we are a legitamate contender not a if all the stars allign and nobody gets hurt contender.

OK, I was only repeating what the Palm Beach Post reported. Maybe they are wrong.

"Miami had only five picks in the opening three rounds during the past three drafts combined."

Exactly. Plus, why would we trade away picks for a washed up troublemaker?

You trade away picks to get players.

You use draft picks to get players.

If your front office is good, and able to identify good players and a reasonable price for them, then what is the problem?

He won't complain in Miami. Geez he was in Oakland for crying out load, I see why the guys complaining because OAKLAND DOESN'T WIN GAMES!!!!!! But, here in Miami we do, he won't mouth off or anything here, plus we have Culpepper.

the problem isnt trading away pick. its what your trading them for. we have got burnt by trading picks for bad players who dont produce when they get here. theres nothing wrong with trades you just need to get good young players with them. we overpaid for alot of are recent trades. a good front office will correct this problem.
the draft is a crap shoot so it doesnt bother me if we trade away a pick as long as we get a good player in return. who could of seen ricky going nuts, if he would have kept his head in the game that could have been a great trade for us.
