Guys,

Did you see him yesterday? He looked terrible! He throws fricken SIDEARM! Just as I said on a privious post...he is an athlete playing QB...NOT a QB who just so happens to be an athlete. NO THANKS!:shakeno:
 
He was a Heisman front runner before that game so he obviously has to be doing something right. I have a feeling he won't declare anyways.
 
didnt TT have the worst passing D also?

That means nothing to me. Look at Danny Wuerefull (spelling is not right) of Florida. He won a Heisman and stunk as an NFL QB. Sure Young could win it...he's a great athlete. He will NOT be a good NFL QB. He reminds me of Andre Ware and that sidearm crap is a hugh turn off!
 
I have seen him 3 times this year and as a QB I dont get what the hype is about. I definitely don't want him this year or next as a QB. If he's willing to play a different position fine but not as a QB
 
There are way too many draft gurus and fortune tellers on this site. There is NO ONE who knows for sure how Vince Young will do in the NFL. I'm not pushing for the guy in Miami, but enough about his delivery and mechanics. Last I checked Philip Rivers throws sidearm too.

last time i checked rivers hasn't done jack crap in this league.
 
Young might be a great QB in the NFL, but he also might be the most overrated QB coming into the NFL. I just hope that other teams will risk that, but not us. I want a guy that can lead a team down the field and a great leader.

Very good point. The risk involved in taking him in the 1st round is way too much. He is the definition of boom or bust

No, I'm not a guru but judging by most posts I thought that was a prerequist for posting on this site. :lol: I know a sidearm thrower when I see one. That's a big NO-NO in the NFL. Philip Rivers is more of a 3/4 thrower like Bob Griese than a sidearmer. Gee, not bad company.
