PFT is reporting his camp told the Falcons he's looking for 4 mil a year. That's outrageous for a guy over 30 that only returns kicks.

Sounds like he needs to get advice from different people. That will never happen. Vet minimum and some incentives.

I dont see why Finnegan's deal is being perceived as a steal by him. All he got was a 1 year prove-it deal worth $5 million. That's hardly a steal.

5m for an average CB that isn't young and had an awful last season is pretty pricey. I did however love his attitude when he was on finsiders.

$4 for a KR/PR specialist with his best days behind him?

Looks like the "Windy City Flyer" needs a reality check.

Maybe if he could also be a #3 WR but he can't even cut that.

FH needs a wake up call...older players cost more money.

And 30 aint that old. Last season he was battling hamstring issues - quite possibly the worst inury a CB could suffer - and a fractured orbital. I think a 1 year deal for $5 million for a good vet is a pretty good risk.

...that teams then regret giving them.

Its unfathomable to me that Hester can come out with nonsense like this. He was too expensive for the bears at 2.1 mil. What makes him think he's going to get his salary doubled?

Doug Gottlieb made a valid point on the radio, if Lovie Smith wasn't trying to sign Hester it should be a warning sign much like Miami not making a bigger play for Matt Flynn.
