Nick Saban is a real joke!!!

He picks up Lejeune yesterday to give him a JOB b/c he played with him
at LSU and the same goes for Hunt!! It is really unreal that this guy(SAban)
is loyal to these players who are NOT NFL material!!! We need safeties with expereince not PS players to make this team better!!!
Also, I heard Saban was looking at Rohan Davey!! again another LSU player!!
This is not the LSU campus and this is not college Coach, you better learn how to start better evaluating talent!! That is going to be your downfall!!!!

Calm down, Saban obviously knows something about them you don't. Also if they played for him at LSU they have the advantage of understanding his very complex system, so friggin complex Jason Allen STILL can't seem to understand it after 4 months!

system

yeah that complex system that really hasnt been working in the NFL???
it just makes me mad how he has evaluated his talent

At this point in the season you need folks that can play WITHIN your system ...

Yes, LeJeune from all reports looks really slow ... but Hunt showed some ability in both camp and NFL-E.

Either way, he needs folks that can step right in ... not some that will need 4-6 weeks in the 'system' before they can be effective.

They're on the practice squad.

Exactly.

If you guys criticize Saban's evaluation of talent, don't just come on here and tell us "he doesn't know what he's doing". Show us why he's making mistakes; come up with some solutions. Who should Saban bring in since you know more than him.

That's funny, since our defense is ranked #4 in total defense right now.

I guess I don't understand why we keep signing, cutting, re-signing, cutting and re-signing these guys. Sooner or later you have to realize these guys are NOT NFL material. If they were you'd keep them around or have them on your 53 man roster.

that is my point

I AM GLAD SOMONE AGREES WITH ME!!!!
He keeps resigning them b/c they played at LSU!!! Bottom Line!!!
and yes they are not NFL MATERIAL!!!!!!
look at who lejeune played for and see if he made any teams??!!

he did not!!!!!!!!!

and Finanatical1- u think he is a good evaluater of talent???
Than why are we 1-5??? can you answer that???

took culpepper over BREES!! enough said!!!

Jack Hunt looked good in spurts in pre-season but he was playing against 3rd stringers. LeJeune hasn't done a thing. He didn't show anything in pre-season and he is also VERY slow. It has to be that Nick wants these guys just because they played at LSU. I could maybe understand signing Hunt but certainly NOT LeJeune.

They are on the practice squad. Maybe they aren't the most physically dominant players, which is why they aren't on the actual team, but did you ever think that maybe they are very good at learning plays and systems quickly? So the players on the practice squad may be slow, but they are very good at learning how the next opponent does everything, and are good at mimicking thier tendencies.

DEfensive end - you are CORRECT Hunt was playing against 3rd stringers!!!
and Lejeune was drafted in 7th round like 3 years ago and hasnt made a
team!! The only reason he signs them b/c they played at LSU!!!

and watch in draft next year - dont be surprised if he picks up
SAFETY - Laron Landry!!!! plays at LSU - but he may be able to play in NFL???

Who cares about Lejeune and Hunt. They are backups who don't get on the field, making minimum salary.

Renaldo Hill is from LSU. He is a "backup who is starting."

Rich - renaldo hill did not play for LSU, he played FOR Saban at Mich St!!
again another ex player he signs?!!!!
