This is my top priority of the off-season!!! I think both of these guys wouldn't mind spending a few years in Miami...especially if we're kicking some a*@!!! Neither will be getting any HC jobs any time soon. So we draft a qb for Norv to teach:D then Nick and Dom can groom a DEFENSE that hasn't bee seen these the 85 Bears:eek: That's just my 2 cents and yes I've been sipping :beerbang:

Sorry to burst your bubble so soon, but Norv Turner was hired by the 49ers a few days ago to be their OC.

I do hope we get Capers. :)

The 49ers signed Norv Turner 2 or 3 days ago. Even if he was available I wouldn't want him here. We need someone with new ideas, like Linehan.

Would Rich Rodriguez come to be an OC here? I heard somewhere where he and Saban are buddies and he has done a great job at West Virginia. I wouldn't mind him here.

Rich Rodrigues will more than likely be in line for his own team in the near future, if he wants. He, Pat Hill and Kirk Ferentz probably will not leave the college head coaching duties for anything less than their own team in the NFL.

Caper is a good HC IMO lack of talent left him in trouble. If we get Capers that will be the move of the offseason. With a few additions to our defense and Dom as DC we will be a force again in the AFC. We had a 9- 7 record this year with alot of holes and Sabans 1st year think what we can do with Dom and Sabans 2nd year I cant wait.

nighttrain I have been sippin too. Heck yeah lets party down with the fin fans :goof: :dolphins:

A couple of years as Saban's pro OC would round out RR's resume very nicely and would probably get him more interviews and/or better job offers than another couple of years at WVU would.

With that said, I don't think it's likely to happen.

yeah bring in mike martz i have hoped he would be the guy to replace SL if it happens and he leaves, but ONLY if he is 100% healthy and recovered from that infection

mike, capers, and saban. 3 nfl coaches on one team? siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick

Hello, read the papers...NT signed with SF when McCarthy was hired by GB....

Capers would be a welcome addition, but I think that Saban needs to worry more about an OC right now...

Martz would not be able to live with Saban's gag order on assistant coaches. He'll never be here...way too much ego between him and Saban...
