noticing the post from the guy who was several months late...is tony mcdaniels capable of being the team's nt or is he a defensive end in our scheme...if not i see the need to draft one in rounds 2-4...

ideally mcdaniels is strictly a DE since he is too tall to be a nose, he would be jacked up by the center almost every time due to better leverage

a person I like to be drafted for the nose position is darryl richard from Georgia Tech

I would be shocked if the Phins didnt draft a nt come draft day...terrance taylor from michigan would be a nice pick

Soliai is the guy. Parcells likes to take a no name guy and develop him over a few years, like he did with Ferguson and Ratliff. The fact that he was suspended twice on a Bill Parcells team and is still on the team speaks volumes.

I dont think Solai has won over the regime we just dont have alot there. I personally think Solai is a wast of time and will have competition this year. Not a coincidence we looked at alot of NT prospects.

You never know. Ratliff when drafted would have got all kind of responses about never being a nose tackle and he has developed into a solid player. So good they were going to cut Ferguson if they could not trade him. I personally hope Brace is there in the second. After that I would wait on Scott or Taylor. I think we draft a NT , where depends on who falls to our picks.
