All in all... I like it... I think we added 2 maybe 3 line starters...we landed Rosen and a 2020 2nd rounder. I really hope the O-lineman can start as I really want to see what Rosen can do.
Well said...and for Rosen to succeed right away we would have needed more/higher picks to help solidify the OL (and pass rush for that matter). Right now our line is worse than AZ's was so how can anyone expect him to succeed? We have to pray Dieter ends up being an above avg starter, as just bc someone is starting for this team doesn't mean they should be. I didn't love the Van Ginkel pick but hopefully I am wrong. My fav part of the draft was probably picking up the extra 2nd rounder next year.
I feel like they are trying to mold everything into the patriots way, ever since they came on board they are copying everything the patriots do and I feel like we have spend decades hating them just to follow their lead because of success?
Can we just bring a bit of the patriots way and form our own way as well? Instead of trying to copy everything the patriots do? Seems like we are being followers in some shape or form.
Will be interesting to see if any of the UDFA offensive linemen make the team. All in all... I like it... I think we added 2 maybe 3 line starters...we landed Rosen and a 2020 2nd rounder. I really hope the O-lineman can start as I really want to see what Rosen can do.

I like what the Dolphins did in this year's draft, especially the moves they made in the second round. Even if Rosen turns out to be nothing special, the Dolphins trading back and picking up the extra 2nd in 2020 means they got him for almost nothing. I'm not concerned about his stats last year, that Arizona offensive line was as bad as it gets.
I agree brother. No need to trade for him and watch him run for his life.Indeed...I actually would like them to even break the rules a little if they can acquire some O-line help... we need to see what we have in Rosen... putting him behind a really bad line is pointless.

Arizona had all 5 starters injured last year for Rosen... I don’t think we’re worse...if the two rookies can play I think we can put a decent line out there.
Who is the second rookie you are referring too? I hope its not our late round project, as I wouldn't expect much from him for awhile. There is no guarantee Dieter will even be avg in his first year.
And everyone seems to forget how often Miami players get injured as well. What happens if Tunsil or any other lineman gets injured this season? I think our oline will prob end up fairly close to AZ's last year. Hopefully Rosen has gotten better w experience and can handle it better than last year though.
I think Deiter is going to prove a good solid LG. Kilgore was fine when he was healthy, so if he is our starting center we shouldn't be too weak there. Jesse Davis should do better at RT than RG, so while not ideal, he is serviceable. The guard that the OL coach brought from Jacksonville looks like he has some ability, so he may be able to plug our hole at RG. Not ideal, but I think our OL will be improved, and definitely better than Arizona's last year.
