We cant do this again. We had Gus and he started to gel with the recievers and learn the system at the end of last year and then we let him go. Joey looks like he's starting to turn the corner, learn the system and gel with the recievers and no picks arent good some were Joey's fault and some werent but they happen hell Brady had a bunch yesterday but no one would bench him. I really do believe we have our QB in Joey lets just leave him there for awhile i bet we become the SB contender that everyone thought we would be.

harrington is not the answer good back up i like daunte over harrington

joey sucks. our ONLY HOPE for next year is that daunte somehow miraulously learns how to play QB. otherwise, more QB problems and another losing season.

Gus was valuable because he didnt make many mistakes. Joey does, nuff said.

Gus definitely made mistakes

Don't worry. It was Ronnie/ the OL and our defense that won this one. Joey hasn't done anything yet.

Guys, I know we are all excited about the win on sunday but let's not get swayed into believing false truths. Miami won, Miami caused 6 turnovers and scored 28 points off of them - 7 directly (Taylor INT). Miami won IN SPITE OF Joey Harrington and not BECAUSE OF Joey Harrington. Harrington's first interception was a batted ball that ended up being intercepted on a great play. His second interception was the typical interception that Jay Fiedler used to throw. He threw an out pattern too far inside and the only player with a chance to catch it was the Chicago Bear. It was undoubtedly one of the WORST passes you'll see. Culpepper didn't forget how to play QB. He lost his offensive coordinator and his star Wideout before last season. Then he blows out his knee. The fact that he thought he was ready for the opener makes him a gamer. He went out there and gave it all he has. Joey has also given his all --- it just may not be good enough.

Your kidding right? Joey looked HORRIBLE sunday and most of the year

How can you say a guy that moved around well, bought himself time, made 3 TD passes, and took advantage of the opportunities he had, was HORRIBLE? That's just not an objective view. JH played pretty good. Not great, but good.

Joes is what he is, Jay Fiedler Version 2.0. Is'nt it funny that he brings out the same passionate range of emotions that Fiedler did when he was here?

He's a guy that won't give you a high completion percentage, has a low yards per attempt average, he'll turn the ball over, is very inaccurate in the deep portions of the field and throws more interceptions then touchdowns.

His passer rating was 66.8 on Sunday, he missed WIDE *** OPEN deep passes and threw a stupid interception. Exactly what he has always done.

Look at his numbers this year. 57%, 5.89 YPA, 6 TD, 9 INT and a rating of 64.6. ALL of those are what he has done his whole career.

I'm not bashing Joey, I'm just being honest. I don't have an agenda like some of the people on this board. I just want to see better Q.B. play then what we are currently getting from Harington.

Agreed. I think people need to realize that Culpepper just might not be back this season. It looks over for him. Saban is saying he might be back but I think we all know its just too give Daunte some sort of respect on his way out. Make it look like he is trying hard to come back. Joey is our guy this year, unless injury or something like this happens.
