I know their not big names, but what about former bear Brown, and former Bronco Robertson, both are FAs they may not turn too many heads but would be alright starters/rotational or otherwise and good teammates.
Also anyone notice the Steelers have Foote heading into his final year, with tommilson, or whatever his name is, right behind, and the falcons have a handful of defensive players, that are starting quality not locked down, including brooking and jackson. as a side note, anyone still willing to give a 4th for shepard?
some of these guys are old but one or two year contracts to give us time to lock up some other options wouldnt hurt too bad...

Mike Brown is hurt too much, and Dewayne Robertson won't fit in the 3-4.

eh, hes listed round 310 probably round 315 if he put on 20 more he'd be alright rotationally...

He couldn't cut it in Denver. They're switching to a 3-4, and cut him. The Jets cut him for just this reason too.

Why would we want him? Better yet..why would we want someone who couldn't cut it on Denver's D?

When Brown is healthy he really made that Chicago defense tick alot like B.Sanders does for Indy. The problem is he's never healthy and we already have a risk in Bell and if we don't sign Bell you'd have to think his injury history has alot to do with it.
