Not Drafting Olb - Okay

I think it shows us Saban's confidence by taking his BPA and not drafting players for needs.. Even though I think OLB is our biggest need, our other needs were WR (addressed), D line (addressed), S (addressed), O line (addressed), Backup QB (harrington - addressed). Now our only need is OLB and there are a couple tweeners undrafted we can bring in plus Cameron Vaughn from LSU will be a Dolphin.

Sedrick Hodge might fill the need anyways

Don't worry. If Vaugn isn't picked up, we'll bring him in as an undrafted FA.
 
We still need a young nose tackle and I support getting Ahmad Brooks in the Sup. Draft.

Cameron Vaughn - not a tweener but basically already signed on with us if
noone drafts him

I call them 3-4 DEs none of them ever played nose tackle.
 
what a sec! ahmad brooks is in the supplemental draft? isnt that for people who screwed up somewhere. what the heck did he do? we definalty gotta get this guy. wasnt he a butkus award candidate?

would someone please explain to me how the supplemantal draft works i never really paid attention to it.
 
yea...just checked...Ahmad Brooks is a big LB..6 4 249...a NT that would be nice is Gerald Anderson if we pick one up which im doubting

All of them are defensive tackles, over 300 lbs, and not quick. They certainly don't project as DE's in any system.
