Starks and Porter made great plays.

Our secondary played like a real secondary for the first time in a long time.

But I am complaining because too many time Edwards, and others have too long back there.

Porter makes skews this thing because he is SO opportunistic.

His two sacks were the about the only time he got near Edwards.

We need speed at linebacker and probably another nose tackle, a safety and a corner and if Henne comes along we can contend next year.

I think Matt Roth is part of the problem, he had one good game but now he has disappeared

Ok !!!

Do u think we can bring pressure in every single play..
The other team's O-Line gets paid millions to protect their QB as well..
We had pressure several times during keys plays in the game which affected the outcome of the game..(see Will Allen's interception, Porter's safety)

Seems as though Randy Starks is the only D-lineman to consistently get pressure on the QB. Langford and Merling have had very little pressure on the QB this season. Matt Roth is a run stopper and Charlie Anderson gets pushed out wide everytime.

So... Yeah, you are correct. Very little pressure from our defenders.

Alot of the pressure doesnt show in the boxscore.

In general I'd agree, there were some plays where it seemed Edwards had an eternity back there (credit to our secondary?), but here were also a few times where we NAILED Edwards just as he was throwing and he managed to get the completion (Lord knows how.)

Buffalo's line played pretty well and Edwards had a pretty good knack for getting rid of the ball before we got him.

Credit the other team's OL if you wish, but at the end of the day -- it shouldn't matter what OL we play. We just have to have someone - anyone who can bring consistent pressure ... not after 5+ seconds .... but in 3-4.

This is the piece that we will be looking for next offseason - since we don't have that person on our roster right now and it is a classic Parcells requirement.

So I'm guessing if Pennington was sacked 10 times during the Bills game, our O-Line would su.ck. You would not give credit to the defensive line of the Bills which is one of the best in the NFL....

Same thing for our defense, since we didn't get much pressure -our d-line is terrible..but we should credit the play of the Bills O-Line as well
-Give credit where credit is due..They have a pro-bowl LT on their roster and a pretty good O-Line.....We still managed to cause fumbles, sacks, and disrupted several plays..
