I don't take it as a conspiracy either, more as just a bit of humor in a tounge in cheek way.
I don't rule out just a little favoritisim with some of these non-calls we see and certain teams or individuals tend to benifit more than others.
Just as some players on other teams seem to get flagged for just showing up.
After all, coincidences being what they are, what other team, (after all the moaning that the officials look the other way when it comes to the Pats and penalties), would have this happen to them.
It could have been any team, but why doesn't it surprise me it's the Patriots. It's a bit comical in it's own right.
Now, after I post this, we see Wilfork on the carpet for a behind the play elbow to the head of Cutler a couple of weeks ago.
Again another tape sent in showing an incident the zebras missed. They have "missed" a few blatant dirty plays by Wilfork in the past as well.
They can suspend a player for a hit durring a game where guys are flying around reacting to conditions as they unfold in split seconds, yet here is a sneaky premeditated shot at a guys head and all he gets is another fine.
When it comes to conspiracies, incidents like the one Wilfork, a Pat, got himself into, followed by the lame responce by the commisioner, doesn't do a lot to convince us that some prefrential treatment isn't taking place.
If that is true or false, who knows? I'd like to believe that there is no bias, but sometimes a whole lot isn't done in some cases to convince me otherwise.
