Not liking all of the Media attention lately

I don't know how you feel about it. But, I don't like all of the "positive" media attention we've been generating lately. I'm not advocating for bad attention like the Martin-Ingo thing. I just personally prefer my Dolphins to be right under the radar kicking other teams butt. I suppose it's hard to be under the radar when you consider what we've been doing of late. Either-way, hopefully this team can keep their focus, not drink the cool aide and consider the tasks at hand. I also suppose the next few weeks will tells us about this teams maturity level.

If I have any reservations about it, it's that we're likely not to look as good playing teams with stellar d-lines - and we have a few of them coming up. I just don't think it's helpful to have smoke blown up you one week and catcalls the next, simply because we faced a few teams who match up well against us.

As far as the team being complacent, complacency is for teams on 7-1 not 5-3. We'll be doing well to make the playoffs and I think everyone in the organisation knows that. What we've lacked on this team is confidence and a bit of attitude. So for me, the recent performances and the press coverage they've generated can only be good for us.

As I said in another thread, no more being scared of attention. You can't expect the team to be good but then disrespected in the media. Bring all of it on. Magazine covers, ESPN actually giving a damn, acknowledgement on Mike and Mike, etc. Let's do it.

Bring on the attention. Its been toooo long...this season is just what fans need baby. long time life long fans need. since I was 5 die hard phin fan. I LOVE THIS!!!!
 
I know what the OP is saying, but I too want some attention. While the media is very fickle, to be talked about and see us all over NFL.com etc is great. We've been in the basement too long. Lets enjoy some success :)
 
Bring it on, we deserve it.. Won 3 in a row and 3 freakin seconds away from 4 in a row.. Damn you Aaron Rodgers! Damn you to hell!!!
 
Espn's James Walker is in Miami all day today. Will be covering Miami for Sportscenter all day. Enjoy it guys, we used to complain about no attention. Good teams get attention
 
I agree, I dont like all the media attention either. We still have a lot to prove before we get this much credit.
 
We always seem to have a let down after we get hyped up.
