Ok for the past 4 months or however long its been since Daunte got signed whenever i said Daunte was horrible or something to that nature i got banned. Now , you have people in here saying all the same things i have been saying but they seem to still be here everyday, thats really not right.

The 2nd thing i have to say is that i read a bunch of post since the game thursday that say well its only the first game calm down. Well, NO im not going to calm down its like your saying its ok to suck its only one game. Me i dont care if its the 1st game or the last game 18 for 37 no td's and 2 int that would have been 3 but the guy didnt hang on to the ball in the back off the endzone is in no way ok. Also if Daunte is so good explain why last year he did so bad and dont tell me it was the orginization because Brad came in and did just fine. Ok im gonna say it again because i been saying it ever since he was signed Joey should be the starter.

That's a lie, you got banned for spamming the boards.
 
i was vocal about not signing duante.

i agree that he was in a funk and brad coming in
and doing a FANTASTIC job with the same personel
takes out the organization excuse.

is he still in that funk? is his knee not letting him
plant like he should and that is why we saw all
the floaters and short balls thursday night?

i say funk!!!

WHERE I DISAGREE: although i am sure joey will
be getting his chance sooner rather than later,
he will not be any savior.

his problems will follow him and show up in the games
just like duantes have. no one in the pre season game
planned against joey and they didn't really care.

if he is starting, teams will game plan and do what
every other team has done since he came into the
nfl, use his weeknesses against him!

he is flustered when hit and is rattled and becomes
inept when he get a lot of pressure and starts
taking hits.

he will be the same 'ol joey, and that is not good!!

Funk? Nay, I say. He was playing the best defense in the nfl at home after receiving their SB rings, on a new team, with a new offensive coordinator in his first game back from the most serious knee injury a qb has ever returned from. What did you guys expect? Dan Freaking Marino? The steelers shut down the run so they knew we were throwing the ball in the fourth quarter. That's why both ints. came near the end of the game and why we lost. If we had run the ball better, culpepper's numbers would have been a little different.
 
Oh please, do you need some nails to help you on that cross? Stop pretending to be some type of martyr. you were banned for spamming the boards and making idiotic threads, NOT for voicing your opinion. Would you like one of us to pull up your threads as proof? (if they haven't been deleted?) We'd be more than happy to.

I guess it is a matter of seeing the glass half full or half empty. Why do you put more stock in last years first few games (the last 2 of last year he played quite well) rather than the way he has played his whole career. Look at the 39 tds 11 pick, 110 qb rating of the year before where Moss only started healthy 6 games. And where Randy only caught about less than a fifth of his passes. That was his best year and Randy wasn't even a part of it. He had less than average WRs and NO running game and still put up the 3rd best numbers of any QB in the history of the game.
I posted before the game that we would lose and the C-pep would turn the ball over a few times late in the 4th. I also posted we would go 3-1 over our first 4 games to set up a big game vs the pats. I believed it then and still do.
I also posted there would be posters that would overract and act stupid. Maybe I should go start up one of those 976 numbers that tells the future.

thank god your not the coach or in anyway have any affiliation with the front office......im not going to say daunte had a good game but one game doesnt determine a career or a season, daunte can very well still have an excellent year if we bounce back and does everything hes suppose to, thats why we got him....if a few games pass and its ooh look its daunte back to his 05-06 season then you can start to worry a bit more with reason and possibly push for a change, but come on get real its one game and thats the truth no if ands or buts on that one

The Pats lost to the frikin Bills 31-0 in their season opener a few years back and went on to win the SB, we killed the Broncos last year in the season opner and we didn't even make the playoffs. What does all this mean?? Nothing it's week one, we are fresh out of preseason, we haven't even had a chance to work out the kinks!! Pittsburgh was 7-5 before they made the move towards the playoffs and eventual SB victory!! You want to determine the fins suck from the first game of the season??? Wow....ridiculous!!!!

Some of these people on this board are rediculous, it is getting to the point where whenever we lose a game you people want to bench all of our starters and put in a bunch of LOSERS!!!!!!!! Learn something about football then come here and post.
