Dolphins | W. Allen being investigated by police

Craig Barnes, of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins CB Will D. Allen is part of an investigation by Davie (Fla.) Police involving a dispute over money. No charged have been filed and no arrests made, according to Lt. William Coyne. A report on WPLG-Channel 10 alleged Allen borrowed money to pay gambling debts. When repayment was demanded, the person claimed Allen pulled a gun. Police would not confirm the report.
 
This isnt sounding good at all. Will Allen was our best defensive player last year and really the only corner we have that I have confidence in.

No! Not good at all! I agree, we're in big trouble back there if this turns into something. This is starting to get ridiculous with all these players.:shakeno:

according to our team we are fine back there, HA!
Lehan is allens sidekick in our CB if not goodman, followed by who? jones or daniels? can it get any worse? but yet we have 234324 safeties.
 
anyone know if there was a witness that saw allen pull a gun?

Yes, according to HOFer Bill Parcells, and Jeff Ireland, pretty much the man that worked alongside Bill in building the NFC East Champion Dallas Cowboys from duds to studs.

But wait, SR7, a poster on Finheaven, thinks they are crazy. Maybe you should call and offer some advice since clearly the two are overmatched.
 
Rumor - and I stress that word - is this is related to gambling. If so, then it just got a lot worse. We are going to need another CB. Let the trade "JT for Lito" threads begin again.
 
well this was mentioned on another site but cbs rw mquarters , sam madison and patric surtain could be released . yes Monkeyshines I realize these guys are up there in age but still madison had a rocking good time last year and surtain has experience so taking any of these three guys would be a little like having some insurance.
 
I guess Will Allen had a pretty big Saturday planned at Bed, Bath & Beyond

Cops question Dolphin in dispute

Dolphins cornerback Will Allen is part of an investigation by the Davie Police Department involving a dispute over money. No charges have been filed and no arrest made, according to Lt. William Coyne. Coyne said statements have been taken from Allen and the other party involved in the alleged incident, and police are investigating to see if charges are warranted. "We have two stories regarding an incident that occurred on Friday afternoon in the parking lot of Bed, Bath & Beyond on University Drive," Coyne said. "There was a dispute over money. We are investigating the statements of both parties."

Maybe they were fighting in the parking lot over the last W.A. monagramed hand towels?
 
Yeah, if he was in Bed Bath and Beyond, you have to wonder if this guy was stalking Allen. Who's life is being threatened here? Two sides to every story and obviously, the media tends to not report the other side of things. Only bad news is good news to the press. I wouldnt worry too much unless Allen was gambling against our team. That is all I am worried about.
