Obviously the dolphins management see there is an issue with InCognito thats why he is suspended indefeinately and Im pretty sure this is not based on something they saw on ESPN. They have talked with Martin and done some investigating of thier own and determined its worth suspending him for. Lets all quit pretending that InCognito is just a victim of circumstance and smear.

'Obviously'????

Obviously... NOT.

The Dolphins are a professional NFL team. They have to cater to the public much more than they would like to.

The NFL is very serious about protecting that NFL Shield logo.

More to the point, Millionaires and Billionaires didn't get to be that way because they don't mind losing money

Personally not blaming the media, I just find it interesting that the only people slamming the organization is ESPN. CBS Radio, NFL Network, and Fox Sports have all basically said "Richie went too far" and that's it. They aren't bashing anybody. I do also find it interesting that despite acknowledging Richie went too far, NONE of them are defending Martin either

I see a bunch of threads every day about how the media doesn't pay attention to the Dolphins. Be careful what you wish for.

Yeah we definitely getting attention now. Not the kind we want though.

I think this whole situation has gone a little overboard.... Richie certainly messed up but I think his voicemail transcripts that are being reread over and over on ESPN are taken out of context. I don't think Richie was actually going to "Kill" Jonathan Martin. These guys were friends only a few weeks ago. Anyone that has followed these two players on twitter for an extended period of time can realize that they have been buddies. Think of all the bull **** you say to your buddies that you don't actually mean. Friends mess around!!! Now with that being said I do think that Incognito took it too the extreme and it clearly offended J Martin. J Martin must have taken offense to Richie's comments if he reported it to the league. I mean duh, thats obvious. But at the same time I don't think that the dolphins have an extreme culture of bullying that only exists in Miami's locker room. This is the NFL. Half of what is said in NFL locker rooms would probably sound unprofessional in any other work environment. The locker room is a work environment but we have to be realistic here. Sh*t talking does go on!!! I think overall I'm just sick of hearing about this story!

Here is my issue: ESPN has to be first, but not right on their reporting...Examples

* Duke LAX case. Convicted and key tossed before actual evidence was collected.
* Micky Loomis bugged the opposition's head sets at the Super Dome to gain advantage...a federal offense btw
* Incognito bashed a bouncer at club when a police report said otherwise

All recent things off of the top of my head that ESPN rushes out info on and turns out to be dreadfully wrong.

Wait for the facts to come and be fair in your presentation.

IF Adam Schefter has more on this, his morphine drop is disgusting. Convenient that he might wait for a game that happens to be on his network next Monday against a winless team, eh.

I think blaming the dolphins is quite overboard until we know more. I think the NFL as a whole seems to condone this type of behavior. Right now I blame one person and thats Incognito because he could have prevented this idiotic spotlight by not saying things like he did.
He also had to come out like mr tough guy and call out Shefter which only seemed to backfire. Dont try to act all indignant about your name being the one being brought up when it was actualy your damn name being the one thats brought up.
I commend the dolphins for acting swiftly or at least it seems swiftly and hopefully we wont be hearing how they condoned and created some type of culture

You noticed that too? Here's why: BILL PARCELLS.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but let's look at how others have reacted...

1.Brian Billick- Richie went too far, believes that Philbin didn't know because a head coach doesn't know everything going on, but said assistants/equipment managers/trainers probably knew so Philbin has to find out why nobody told him.

2.LT/Sapp- Said that hazing went a little too far. Didn't rip organization

3.Doug Gottlieb- Said he knows there are things said in locker room that can't and shouldn't be said outside of locker room. Richie went too far.

4.TBD in the AM- Tikie, Brandon, and Dana all said that they dealt with hazing, some guys deal with it differently or can't deal with it at all but agreed Richie went too far. Wondered why nobody knew.

5.John Heyman- Found it interesting how teammates backed Richie but really don't back Martin.

SI Sports Writer- Multiple front office people feel that Martin is a coward for how he handled situation.

Only place painting us in a bad light is ESPN

if the person who they were written to has a problem with the context thats all that counts. It doesnt matter what your intention was it all they perceive your intention much like sexual harrassment. The rules are like this in almost every workplace esp mine the military. I actually have a soldier being given an article 15 tomorrow for using a racial term in a text.

Again my friend, P A R C E L L S.

It's laughable that people actually want to argue the intent of the voicemail! When you call someone a half-ni&$@), tell them you will kill them, slap their mother, and **** down their throat you don't get to use the I was only joking defense. The only person that gets to interpret context is the victim and no one has the right to tell him/her they are wrong.

Now imagine if a Jet did this!

If reporters wanted to do good work, they should go to these teams that claimed they had no hazing issues...Polian's teams, Dungy, Walsh, Tuna etc. and see if that was the case.

I bet you'd you have a nice story if you found something...they won't because it does not fit the narrative.
