there were a lot of dropped passes today chambers in the 1st and if mcmichael dosent fumble on the 8 yd line its at least 10-0 so we had that game right in our hands and if mare dosent miss the feild goal so in a postive way we could had won

I hate to shed any negativity on a post like this because you are obviously a true and loyal fan. I commend you for your positive thinking and I'd love to sit next to you at the stadium. But making the plays that need to be made is the difference between a good team and a not-so-good one. The really positive thing is that this team and coaching staff have been together for just over half a season, and those plays (or ones that fit the personnel) will eventually be called and made.

I see us winning a good majority of the remaining games and going 8-8...

Yeah, we could've won against a team that is destroyed by injuries.

Let's see, they had like 2-3 starters on their OL out. They had their starting RB and FB out. They had one of their starting WRs out. They had their starting TE out. And that is just on offense. And we still couldn't come away with a win at home. I kinda think it is that bad.

This team has a lot of work to do before we reach the level of a team like the Pats.

The good news is, our first draft with Saban looks to be a really good one and something to build on. If only all of our players played their positions as well as Ronnie brown plays his, this team would be unstoppable.

even if Mare makes the kick, or McMike doesnt fumble, there was no guarantee we'd win. It would just give us a better chance.

I'd like to actually have a lead and force the other team to come back. Screw 7-3, I want 21-0 and then see how they handle it

Eight teams in the league have worse records than we do. One more win and we've equaled the total of victories in the last year of Wannyspielball. We're going to have a good draft position and lots of cap room to get some good FAs. The way I see it, any more wins this year is gravy.

yea things will get better in time i mean on the watson td taylor and schulter blown coverage real bad as well

yea its so hard not to cheer for them like last year but a loss in a way is just a better draft pick but you never want to pack it in but in april wel be happy we lost some games that were pretty meaningless
