Showing he has deep ball problems. I took flak in my thread earlier and here we have 3 medium to deep routes with guys open by sometimes 2-3 steps and he repeatedly makes them come back for the ball. You can't leave these plays on the field in the nfl because they are rare to begin with. Call it timing or bring pressured or whatever but he has to find a way to fix this. He does that and he will elevate himself to the next level.

You aren't going to hit all plays but if we went back and looked at all intermediate to deep routes I'm guessing he has missed over 15 easy this year.

I don't want to hear that 15 isn't bad for the attempts, I'm talking wide open potential scoring plays.

I hate to give him more time but we have no choice but to give him one more year.

he is average, he misses way too much reads, and is slow on his thought process, deep ball, awful

How could anyone thumbs down this comment. This is more accurate than Tannehill's throws. He just does not have "It"

Wow. Now he overthrows Clay on 4th and goal. Not an impressive game by Tannehill at all.

Tannehill deserves to be benched with his performance thus far. Sturgis should be cut.

He has no pocket awareness. The o-line is protecting him well, and he keeps holding the ball too long. Make a decision. Thag is why he keeps underthrowing open receivers - he waits too long to let the ball go.

Can't we wait till after the game to start these kinda of threads?

No because if he hits one deep then the kook aid drinkers will he like "well he hit 33% of them...". It's not a singular problem. It's been all season long and pretty bad too. For Miami to take the next step he has to make these throws. Run game aside, this is all on tannehill.

Why wait? It is blindingly obvious that Tannehill is missing throws repeatedly today. This game should be 21-0.

The issue is it's not just today. This will be what makes or breaks him as a starting qb. This is what makes guys career backups.
