I am not worried about these reports of offensive struggles yet for a few reasons. Number one it is a new offense, it takes time. They are trying to remember and not just playing. Some might argue that it is a new defense too, but that is apples to oranges as on defense you are still basically attacking. It requires much less execution for things to go well.

Number 2, a lot has been thrown at the offense, I think they are mentally and physically tired and it is showing up in dropped passes. they are in a grind right now going against the same people day in and day out....I think this combination is taking its toll. This is a good thing as it builds mental toughness.

Number three, Gase is trying to figure things out and there are a lot of moves going on to see where everyone will play. Once we get set and start playing that line up, I think things will improve.

Finally, having a healthy Parker is crucial as he is he one guy that Tanne can just throw it up to. There is a connection there that has been created, even with limited opportunities!

I expect the offense to get a lot better and these tests they are going through now will help! I am ready to see how they do against other teams!

I am hopefully optimistic and would be honestly more worried about our D if the offense was having big success against them at this stage.

my advice to all is to relax, it's a new system, there are some new parts. Give them some time.

The offense will end up as the stronger unit as the season progresses and I think the offensive line will be a pleasant surprise because the unit is talented, deep, and experienced. I don't think the Dolphins will run the ball enough to definitively say if running back is a legitimate weakness or just under utilized. The wide receiver position has the most potential to go bust (based on expectations) in my opinion because of DVP's health, Kenny Stills' questionable value, and the underrated loss of Rishard Matthews. Tannehill, as usual, will be the wildcard.

I'm not wiling to say the O doesn't worry me. I WILL say the OL is musical chairs and, like most PS camps, plays are being called to give specific players a look. The 2s O against the 1s on D is expected to get smacked. And the 3s? Don't care much. What I would like to hear is which OLman is getting embarrassed. All of them? 90% of it OGs? OTOH, Gase has publicly called out the O which is not a good sign. Hints are the main problem is OL. Sacks. NO RB is doing well. TFL on outside runs. None of that sounds good and the outcome is the same regardless of RB/QB. I will continue to have some 'concern' but won't 'worry' until the day after the 1st PS game.

Chicago had this same problem this time last year too.

Gase's offense isn't the easiest thing to learn and execute at a high level quick.

no unit has to function more in tandem than the OL.

no, i don't like seeing anyone get whipped repeatedly in 1 on 1 drills.

once they settle on a starting five and those five get to practice and play together for a period of time, there will be no resemblance to what is going on now.

With Albert admitting he was already beat up, he may need more vet rest days. How is he going to make it through the season if he is hurting already? Tunsil will probably be our starting LT for half the season anyway unless they keep him at LG with Bushrod at LT. So many things could pop up.

I'm worried because we still have the same guards as we did last season and while I have hope for Billy Turner I don't share the same for Dallas Thomas. The whole reason I thought the offense would be better is we'd have Tunsil at LG and either an improved and more experienced Turner or Bushrod at RG. Neither has happened yet and I know it's early but I swear we'd had our best lines when the 5 spots were established early on in camp. I hate letting these competitions drag out and quite frankly I wasn't expecting the completion between Tunsil and Thomas to be so close. I'll give you Tunsil is a rookie learning a new position but many guys have done this in the past and started and done fine. You can say that was out of necessity well what the hell is rolling with Dallas Thomas again? It's not like he's trying to replace an all pro guard here.

It's early, I'll let it play out but I am nervous.

I will start worrying if the offense struggles in all 4 pre season games. It is to early right now lol.

You know finheaven is full of whiny babies when a Jets fan is the only one telling us to calm down and be patient about our own team.

Dolphins spent their 2016 first round pick on a player for next year......and I still fully support the pick because it was a damn good and lucky pick. But...it does very little to make 2016 better unless our starting LT gets hurt.
Honestly, I'd rather they just scrap the idea of playing Tunsil at guard and just get him ready to excel if Albert gets hurt.

My concern is the lack of intensity, compared to the D, that Gase referred to. Maybe their heads are swimming in things and they're thinking rather than competing but to have the likes of Dallas Thomas eating up valuable reps doesn't bode well. Jason Fox was sent packing first day so it's not like these guys can't identify trash.
