1. Albert is full-go. Left tackle
Branden Albert was a full participant at practice on Tuesday for the first time since training camp opened,
per ESPN.com's James Walker. Slowly but surely, he's made progress this summer. Albert missed the first two preseason games and could miss a third game against the Falcons on Saturday night. He's less than 10 months removed from tearing his ACL and MCL, an injury that comes with a lengthy and arduous rehab.
2. Misi returns. For the first time in a few weeks, middle linebacker
Koa Misi took part in practice,
Armando Salguero of The Miami Herald notes. This is an important development for a paper-thin linebacking corps. Misi is a quality starter, but his health has been an issue over five NFL seasons. He has yet to play in the preseason, though there's a chance that changes against Atlanta on Saturday.
3. Roll call. Offensive tackle
Jason Fox, linebacker
Jordan Tripp, cornerback
Jamar Taylor and wide receiver
DeVante Parker all sat out Tuesday's practice,
Salguero says. Fox suffered a concussion in Saturday night's loss to the Panthers, which means the Fins could start a third-stringer at left tackle in the upcoming game against the Falcons. That's a concerning thought. Tripp hurt his ankle in the preseason opener and has been out since. Taylor suffered a quad injury in Carolina on Saturday night and the hope is he will be back soon. Parker remains out after June foot surgery and the hope is he will be ready for the regular-season opener.
