Linehan was shown a couple of times on the sideline conversing with Saban. Look at the results. Balanced run and pass. I think Saban "forced" him to be there so he could be more personal with him during the game.

Interesting. Could be "security" concerns forcing the change, though, too (e.g., Raiders screwing with booth coms, they've been known to do that before). We'll see if it happens at home next week.

Hmmmm....very interesting........

Every other game this year Linehan has been in the booth. Tom Moore of the Colts is another prominent OC on the sidelines during games and u see the results...interactions with players and coaches is healthier for the team during the game rather than non-face to face conversation.

Charlie Weis was also on the sidelines all the time for the Pats, I think it's better this way because Linehan can also communicate with the QB by giving him signals. (less delay of games)

Yeah I agree with that. Scott called a good game today.

Why because we won? Today was evidence that before we go letting go coaches, players need to step up and execute.

this is a good point as Houck has taken a lot of credit , whilst Linehan has taken stick. It will be interesting to se if linehan resorts to the booth again when we paly at home.

I noticed the Raider's cheerleaders on the sidelines in their nice outfits. :jt0323:

I didn't know he stayed in the booth. I agree, he shoud be on the sidelines .....

Yea and most succesful offenses have their coordinators with them on the sidelines including Tom Moore and C. Weis when he was there. It makes sense and I don't know why our coordinators (Forrester, Norv and until today Linehan) spend their time in the booth.

haha i watched sportsxra and the abc late night local show and they both mentioned the point i made. The only difference is they are paid for what we as fans already seem to know. Sux.
