I think this draft will bode well for getting a good player at a need position for the Fins…at least in the 1st round. We could certainly use help at WR and CB. There will be some good players there.

I think if Melvin Gordon is there you have to really consider it. He's a stud..and I know Miller has had a solid year but Gordon is elite and would give us one of the best 1-2 punches out there.

Nice list. You have Shane Ray really high and I've read somewhere comparisons to Cameron Wake. Where do you think he'd fit for Miami? Is he more linebacker or DE?

I have to think the Dolphins target a big corner like PJ Williams or Trae Wayne if either player was there. I'm also a big fan of Davante Parker, but do you think he drops to R2 due to injury? Miami should add a corner, left guard and bigger, physical receiver. That said, you always remain open for special players who may drop.

Gordon would be interesting in Miami. Lazor's system is so running back friendly and a player like Gordon could be really something. I think Miami will target one of the big corners, if PJ Williams or Trae Wayne drop. But, the Dolphins also may be picking near the bottom of R1 (hopefully) so we may be looking at different possibilities. I think Gordon or Parker could be a few of those late R1 guys that Miami targets.

Is there a reason why Cedric Ogbuehi is dropping that I've missed? He seemed to be a top 10 projection, but now see him mocked later in R1.

Tevin Colman is a perfect fit for Lazors offense. He does everything very well. But it's his vision and the way he attacks the hole that make him so special.

I'd be disappointed if Miami doesn't pick up either Gurley, Gordon, Abdullah, Coleman, or Duke.

The more I see Duke Johnson the more I like him. Reminds of the when the U put out a good RB every season. He's the best in quite a while.

I made the Cam Wake comparison somewhere in the draft forum. I don't know if it has been used by anyone else here, or in the media. He would be a DE all the way for Miami.

I think Parker will go somewhere between 16-40.

Wayne's a nice player but he's not a scheme fit...as such he wouldn't be on my Miami targets board...

With Wake getting up in age, I wouldn't be surprised if Miami went DE pretty early. I know we have some depth there, but it's a good area to have quality depth on a team. Before seeing your rankings, I was thinking Ray could be had later in R1, but if he runs around 4.4 (as advertised) no question he'll be off the board quickly.

I think Ray has an explosive get off…but Wake has that in addition to being ridiculously powerful…and more than anything Wake has the best bend and dip I have ever seen. He gets so low, his ankle and hip mobility is literally off the charts…its freakish how low he gets without losing any power or speed.
