Colts | League Will not Fine Thornton

Mike Chappell, of the Indianapolis Star, reports after further review, the NFL determined Indianapolis Colts LB David Thornton's hit on San Francisco 49ers QB Alex Smith was not a fineable offense. Thornton drew a 15-yard penalty for helmet-to-helmet contact. Head coach Tony Dungy contended Thornton's hit was legal and should not have drawn a flag, let alone a fine. Thornton, though, was concerned about repercussions.
They won't fine him, but yet they fine McMike. :fire:
