I know solai has looked better this year, and ferg. is what he is, but I wouldnt mind looking into shaun rogers for some depth there, if fergs age becomes a factor i don't know that we could get anywhere near the same production with a rotation with starks (i think thats who we would put in there) rogers just got off his suspention (i know good sign right) but he is a big dude, and can eat eat some blocks.

this is fergs last year (most likely)
i honestly think soliai can be the feature NT, i've been supporting him since the draft, i still really like this guy and his size and potential is just massive.

we do need to bring a quality backup to either split reps and to push soliai. a 3rd-5th round pick would be cool

of course i'd absolutely love to sign wilfork from the patsies.. that would be great, lets give him a big fat contract.

Shaun Smith just came off his suspension. Shaun Rogers is under a huge contract up in Cleveland where he is again playing pro-bowl football.

Shaun Rogers is a beast and would not be considered depth by anyone.

No to Smith.

Wilfork would be a huge addition, but the Pats are in a position to afford Wilfork after trading Seymour. i doubt Wilfork is going anywhere.

yeah i know that, thats why i added it in as a "but of course, I'd absolutely love .........." its a wish, it can still happen since the pats drafted ron brace, maybe he develops, and they want to invest money in other ways.

Realistically i think we feature Soliai, retire fergy, and oick up a mid round draft pick to compete and split reps, (soliai needs rest to be a 100% in each snap, he's just to big to be an everydowner.)
