O And D Rankings As Of 10/1

Offense is hands down the biggest disappointment, we badly need points on the board and the running game needs to be kick started.

Defense might be getting gouged for yardage but they're not leaking scores and are generating a bunch of turnovers, far better than expected.

gase, 10 times out of 10, after a holding penalty or something...runs a draw play

Yeah we're punting if there's any kind of penalty happening. Tannehill used to lap up them outs and comebacks to Hartline, easy chain movers, but it's now either a screen or a checkdown and get the D back on the field. Do we even have slants or back shoulder throws in the playbook?

Sounds about right, last weeks rank was overblown

Or maybe after this ONE game where Miami was blown out by a desperate Patriots team in their home, may have downgraded Miami's rank lower then how good each actually is capable of playing, and have played in their previous 3 games before NE.

Year Three(!) of having an offensive-genius-guru and this is what we (still) look like, year in and year out.

Start the Jim Harbaugh Countdown Clock...

One more point. A D playing 35-40 minutes a game will run out of gas earlier is following games. The O, therefore, isn't just hurting the D in the current game, but 3-4 games down the road.

We'll see after the Cincy game if it was an aberration or not...hope so but I'm not a believer until we show up in huge games.
