all this talk about hudson houck and how improved the o line was...what the hell was everyone looking at in camp? from what i saw they sucked bad. they did not get any push and there was absolutely holes or lanes for any of our backs. it just goes to show you that no matter who the coach is, garbage is garbage and and there's not much you can do with it but take it out.

Overreact much?

If they're playing like this by the last pre-season game..then worry.

But by the third game of the year if it isnt improved then we should replace most of the wanny holdovers(except hadnot)

I think Hudson may just need to get better men in there. The garbage that WannySpiel stuck us with may take a couple of years to get rid of.

I guess we HAVE become the Cincinnati Bungles or the Arizona Cardinals.

Did you watch the player's on the o-line? The starters were not playing the whole game. Wait until the regular season and see how the o-line plays a FULL game.

You expect Houck to have improved the OL in 2 weeks?

This board is getting unreal. Just absolutely unreal. Do you even know how much the STARTING O LINE played? Doubt it, you're just focused on them "sucking"

Why even bother then? We suck, right? So you imply

That's just stupid. IT WAS THE DAMN RB PICKUPS THAT WERE MISSING...

NOT THE O-LINE

Here come the panic police baby!!!!

*sounds sirens*

You knew it was coming!!

 One game where the opposing team blitzed every play and there was no game plan, we are already cellar-dwellars according to this guy.

Hey, just do me a favor, huh? If we win the next pre-season game, don't book your tickets for the Super Bowl yet. ;)

I'd like to think we need to give them time, but those first 3 drives looked exactly like last year's team

guys lol you tell me how this line looked any diffrent from what we saw last year. to this point, ZERO progress has been made. now, that's not to say it can't and won't get any better but what i saw tonight won't cut it. it's my own fault, too, for listening to the hype from camp and buying into it.

Yeah, seriously it was the first pre-season game. I also noticed a few times the RB missed the block completely (Ricky especially). But looking back to every other pre season we never were all that successful in the running game. Even Ricky in his prime never did much in pre-season.

A lot of negativity for the first game. This is the first of many learning tools for Nick. He will be able to use this as an evaluation tool, and make adjustments. He will be able to look at players longer due to four more pre-season games, and mix different players on the field to see who plays the best. It is very early to be negative. Relax!
