This line has played just as well if not better without Martin and Incognito the last couple of games, and I really didn't see anything in the way of a dropoff playing without Pouncey today. I'm starting to think the line's chemistry might be better without any of the three big names.

Also, a couple of things about RT. First, this is the first time I can really recall him showing a lot of emotion. It looked like at one point in the fourth quarter he actually yelled at somebody. I like it.

He made some really savvy plays, too. He used his feet well and ran wisely when the opportunities presented themselves. He still made a few plays that I'd like to have back (the deep miss to Wallace, the interception, going out of bounds before the two-minute warning, two misfires to an open Hartline and two dangerous out routes that were broken up), but his good today far outweighed the bad, IMO. I've expected a lot from him and been critical of his play, but today I saw some things that really gave me hope. He earned some praised.

It proves you don't need a first round center! Hell it proves we were better without him!

I got the feeling there was addition by subtraction. Jerry not looking back on every shotgun snap ... running game was productive enough, RT was sacked four times but I didn't feel like he was under constant threat of bodily harm or being rushed on every throw.

No Ryan, what it proves is something that's been said here before... Mike Pouncey is giving away the snap with his head movement before he snaps the ball. Go back and watch games with Pouncey under center, he gives it away. Now watch what Garner did today...

Move Pouncey to guard. I can't believe the coaches don't get this.

Ryan Tannehill = work in progress. You saw that today. There is good, and there is bad. There needs to be consistency. IMO, he is showing improvement and we need to stick with this kid.

Could be that. I thought coming out he was better as a guard than a center because he was one of the worst shotgun snappers I've ever seen. But I've also seen a few indicators this year of what I call knucklehead tendencies. Honestly, he might be a guy that does more harm than good in the locker room and on the field. At the same time, he's such a good athlete that he might be a valuable trade chip in the offseason if his mental makeup negates his physical ability.

Pouncey is overrated garbage and his thug mentality is divisive the line played better without him. He either ends up in jail for gun running or runs to Pit as a FA so might as well play now without him. Proof positive we just need decent center corner.

Calling him overrated garbage isn't true..

He's a good player and I doubt he's going anywhere. Kick him to guard... Garner was fine at center.

Pouncey is overrated garbage? WTF???

Overrated without a doubt. Not a must keep player.
