O line...CC...darn it!

why is our number 2 guy our game breaker? booker? its damn annoying and for those that called out CC for playing his best and still we lose...if u look at the stats, he got most of his yards with about what 8 minutes left? on that one drive we went to him i htink 3-4 times if im not mistakening. We go to him when tthe game doesnt matter anymore tahts the problem. but during our win str5eak he was our go to guy from the GET GO not when its out of raech. we even did with vs the steelers i think it was ? probably not tho but that one game wehre DC threw to CC for a 21 yard TD with liek 50 seconds left.

its damn annoying! its like going to kobe when teh game is out of reach but for 55 minutes he shoots the ball 2 times. whenever a game like that occurs LA always loses. as would the bulls with jordan or any other team when they dont go to the go to guy from the get go. you build a WR corps around him then USE THE DAMN MAN!

and for soem reason, that 46 yard pass to CC not only did i expect a drop but i felt like i hadtn seen a pass of that nature for over 5 years now.

and i finally made up my mind...OL IT IS! i want Defensive players badly and a few offensive players here adn there but i reallllllllllllllly think teh key no matter what is our O-line. KC got it rolling once there O line and LJ started to gel.

We can hope and pray for vintage '04 Culpepper or for Harrington to have an epiphany .... but neither is likely - right now - today !

Even with an improved line -- Harrington is NOT leading us to the SB -- period, he just makes too many mistakes ...

A better bet is that Ronnie and Ricky can with an improved line ... and there is definately no guarantee there either

So I was right to want Nick Mangold. We could have had an instant starter at a very important position where Mangold becomes the leader of that Line and then all you have to do is get a stud LT. Once you have those two pieces to the line, everything else is easier to deal with. We already have our RT. Carey. We could have found a safety in later rounds that would have done the job at safety just as good as Allen if not better. The jury is still out on Allen and next year is going to be his year to shine, but long term, IMO, the deal to me was Mangold. PB centers are very valuable IMO and you can get them signed because money is not that big an issue.

your opinion on QB's follows alot of people's opinions. But new QB's whether they are veterans or not, still have to develope with the new system and players. Joey can learn to throw the ball away and how to manage the game without listening to cry babys for the ball. Joey has the skills, the mental part is something else, which is the problem with most QB's in the end. There are only few leader type QB's in this league. And it takes time to figure that out. But I see bandwagon fans jumping on and jumping off. Its cus they dont play the game and do not understand. You cant be a star every week. Look at Peyton Manning, now all of sudden he is losing.

I always preach get the baddest 300 pounder in each round and get the playmakers from free agency. After a couple years you will protect the QB and get to thier QB, you can run and stop the run. There are always great players that can run the ball, catch the ball and cover real well if you dominate the line of scrimmage.
I love the Jets picks of D'brick and Nick (although the gave up Mawae and John Abraham for Mangold)still badass 300 pounder will dominate the OL for some time.

You were really discombobulated there untill your good sense took over and you realized this is all about the OL. We must build up the OL. Good save for a bad thread start.

Chambers is not nearly as bad as people seem to think he is. YES he drops some passes, but EVERY WR drops passes.....The guy who EVERYONE on this board is in love with Wes Welker dropped a TD pass against the jags!!! Chambers makes a lot of tough catches also that other WR's just can't make. Chambers didn't go to the pro bowl, AND PLAY WELL in the pro bowl for no reason, the guy is a gamer, and he can flat out play. Last year he did really well, and I don't think it's any coincidence that he had the best QB he's Ever had throwing him the ball. Gus had a strong arm, and actually did a very nice job on the deep balls. Joey is possible the worst QB as far as getting it deep in the league, even that long pass to Chambers this past week was off, and underthrown. I find it absolutley AMAZING that everyone even found ways to criticize the guy after he just had his best performance of the year, and had more production than anyone else on offense. He got the offense out of sync??? LoL, Please......Everyone has been crying that we need to get Chris the ball and they do, he has a big game, and it ruined our offense??? You mean the same offense that has been bad all season anyway, with a QB who makes mistakes at the worst times and has been horribly innacurate all season???
