ok after the 1st 4 games most fin fans including myself thought we needed to upgrade our secondary and o-line, we were giving up sacks and the safetys were not making plays, then we mix up the line and put bell in and everythings ok. so is our secondary and oline set? if not who would you get rid of? personaly i would leave are secondary alone with bell, hill and allen at safety and daniels, goodman and allen at corner, and on the line maybe just get rid of james, what would u do?

is this a deja vu from last year ? Why are we playing so great ? What the hell happened ? I LOVE IT, but why now ?

Saban fixed the Ss by putting the "bullfrog" on the field and so far the O-Line is a little better

All I know is consistancy is the key, if Saban wants to continue having success then he needs to stick with this lineup at the line. Let the linemen continue to gel and find more ballhawks in the secondary like Bell.

I still think LT and guard is a concern. The Dolphins didnt think enough of MacIntosh so they signed Shelton, who was a dissapointment at LT. Shelton is signed through 2009 while MacIntosh signed a one year deal. So who's our LT next season?

I believe that Jeno James contract really starts to escalate next season. He could be a cap casuality if he doesnt redo his contract. That leaves our guard choices as Fonoti, Jacox, McKinney, Toledo, Anderson and Shelton, if he doesnt return to LT. Not exactly an awe inspiring list.

Personally, I think it would be a big mistake to stand pat with the OL. We need a line that will show up at the start of the season for a change. We cant keep signing other teams castoffs just because we have a good OL coach.

One offensive lineman (either Center or Left Tackle) and a shut down cornerback who can catch would be all the doctor ordered but we can get by with what we have

HOnestly, I think u gotta resign DMac and probably let Jeno go, and then either thru the draft or Free Agency, add another player on the OLine at the tackle spot. If worse comes to worse, just run with these guys, but no intense shuffling like last year.

Yeah I was thinking go after a cheaper option like a top notch center, drop james, move hadnot to his natural position of guard and we got a killer line. Dmac is serviceable

Can't forget McKinney also . . . he is a decent center, I mean I would like better, but he is decent. But if u think about it . . . if we let go Jeno and that big contract . . . we could have

LT - Dmac/High draft pick
LG - Hadnot/Fonuti
C - Mckinney/Hadnot
RG - Shelton/Toledo
RT - Carey

Even if we gotta leave Hadnot at Center to keep the line gelled, hey do what u gotta do, it doesn't have to be a pretty line, as long as it is effective.

Would love for Dmac to stay while we groom a LT the next year or 2 from this draft.

bottom line we have a good line now. Adding the right pieces will make it a great line

I think they should replace Jeno and that's it for the time being. Swapping everyone around so much is what killed them the beginning of this season. The line is not so bad that you need to make such a wide sweeping change. Although i am not very impressed with Hadnot either I think it's best to leave him in there for now.

I think Hadnot as a guard is very good but as a center average

why so late .. they needed wake up calls .. last year it was the CLE blowout .. this year it was a look at the season that never was on the bye week and realized they were better than that

we need balance on the opposite side of the ball no matter how good they gel right now .. the left side is obvious the weakest side .. where typically the strong ends and LBs line up
