O-Line....what can be done

I think our only chance is Jerry at RG, Carey sucks. Garner at RT Colombo sucks. I'm not saying they're upgrades but something needs to be done.

I have said a number of times since last year that I thought they were grooming Garner to replace Carey...but to be honest, Garner is not playing like I remember. I haven't really been impressed by him this year, he looks as bad as the rest this year.

It's preseason...relax.

We heard this crap last year when it was obvious that we had problems...and everyone said..."It's only preseason." That's a bunch of bull****. The games don't count, but you can sure as hell tell who is winning and losing the 1-on-1 battles, and the OL looks like crap right now...and if something major isn't done, this WILL carry into regular season.

Based on last year and this years preseason. Dude doesn't have his head in the game anymore .And who are we putting at RG, Jerry? He looked equally as pathetic.

Carey or Sparano???

What is really pathetic is that Berger has played better than most of the rest of the line this year...

I need to compile a list of O-linemen we've gone through. What a long list. Most of them scrubs. This front office has no clue what it takes to build a great O-line.

Rather move Pouncey to RG. I don't like the idea of Incog and Carey anchoring the right side.

I like the idea of Incognito continuing to play LG when he's as bad as it gets in space even worse. Mike Pouncey's skillset fits LG perfectly.

I think we will see what turns up on the Dallas trash heap. LOL
Hopefully we will be shopping the Steelers or Raven trash.
We need to get more physical and athletic up front.
Jerry, Murtha, Berger, and Colombo are pure garbage as starters.
Murtha could be a back up but he makes too many mental mistakes.

Switch Carey and Incognito. Carey is weak for weighing 335, but he does has surprising quickness for his size and would probably be better at pulling than Richie. Incognito is more of a mauler and more likely to have success against bigger, nastier DT's. As for Columbo...well...**** me I have no idea.

...or maybe we need a new o-line coach. Sparano may be an o-line guru (emphasis on the "maybe"), but he is NOT our o-line coach, remember. Just like Brian Billick (offensive guru) was never the OC for the Ravens and Marvin Lewis (defensive guru) has never been the DC for the Bengals. I'm not excusing our line's play, and I'm not entirely excusing Sparano/Ireland of blame, but keep in mind that the head coach is coaching the team, not his area of specialty.
