Here we go. OBJ already hurt himself again....in practice, and also has a "personal" issue that has cropped up. Maybe that he doesn't personally care to practice or play as long as he is getting a paycheck and can go clubbing in Miami? Season totals for OBJ so far, 1 ball thrown his way, which was intercepted bc the DB beat him. Grier never learns.

Some of these other guys seem soft too. Like whiny Jevon Holland. Guys play with a cast all of the time, but I guess not him. Let's see who decides they want to play through it, and let's see who wants another weeks paid vacation. Before people say otherwise, yes there are injuries where you cannot be out there, but there are injuries players can effectively play through if they so choose.

Also FWIW sounds like Poyer is ready to go, but not sure if that is bad news or good news. And Cam Smith, don't even get me started. Can we get any of our 1st or 2nd round picks of the last two years on the field and meaningfully contributing in a positive way? Chop is going to get more chances at least out of pure need, so fingers crossed with him.

Dolphin safety Jevon Holland is unlikely to play on Sunday against Indianapolis, and new late-week injuries suffered by right tackle Austin Jackson and receiver Odell Beckham Jr. have left their status in question for the Colts game. Jackson sustained a back injury late this week and Beckham sustained a hamstring injury; both were listed as questionable for Sunday. Beckham did not practice on Friday because of the hamstring injury and an undisclosed personal reason. Jackson was limited in practice.
Also listed as questionable for Sunday: outside linebacker Emmanuel Ogbah (biceps), linebacker David Long Jr. (knee), cornerback Cam Smith (hamstring), quarterback Skylar Thompson (ribs) and long snapper Blake Ferguson, who missed practice Friday because of an undisclosed personal reason.

At the time I thought it was a weird decision to sign a drama filled WR to be WR3 on a team that barely uses a WR3. His ego is way too large for that.

Whatever we do, make him sit here. Don't cut him so he finds his way to KC.

I'm not sure if this is a league-wide issue or mostly Dolphins related. But it seems to be more Miami related.

Again, I think this falls to the coaching staff being too easy on players. I know it's not 1970, but as the OP stated some players are on the field with a cast.

I recall Bob Keuchenberg playing with a cast and a medal rod in his arm during Super Bowl VIII. He held the great Alan Paige in check too. Talk about tough.

Seth Meyers One Min GIF by Late Night with Seth Meyers

Indeed has has a rep of being a great teammate lately..... he also has been getting injured alot.

ODell Beckham has 102 catches....... OVER THE LAST FIVE SEASONS COMBINED! Too put this into perspective, Adam Thielen had 103 catches in 2023...... on the Carolina Panthers.

Getting excited about landing Odell Backham is totally baffling to me. Literally dozens of better options. Dozens.

You guys really think a 32 yr old wr, who multiple GMs around the league said, has lost a step, is gonna come in here and put up 1,000 yards or something.

It's hilarious to me, but I hope you guys are right. Maybe we do live in a game of Madden, where we can just go into edit mode and change his speed, acceleration and release stats.

Forget the fact that in 2022 Waddle had more yards than Odells had in four years. Or the fact that in 2023 Tyreek had almost 500 more yards in one season, than Odells had in four years & more touchdowns.

If Odell gets to 500 yards it would be amazing. I hope he does, but we drafted a dude, who, out of the box is better than Odell is right now.

I very well might be, but I think most ppl are a bit high on what they expect from Odell as well.

What ppl thought we were getting with Odell....

Odell is OLD, this isn't Madden dude, he's not fast anymore, he's JAG that's why he's getting paid like JAG.

Your expectations for him are not based in reality.
