well, since I was sick yesterday, the medication I was on kept me even keeled the whole game, here are some thoughts I have.

This will go down as the 3rd game that We shoulda won.

As I posted in February, Olindo Mare needs to go, he's missing to many kicks and he's unreliable in clutch situations.

We abandoned our Running game once again, (Mularkey is soley to blame for this), had we run the ball a few times when we were inside the Pats 40 we could have been in position for a 3 rd and short or even been in field Goal range.

Joey looked Sharp.

Marty got hurt for the 5th consecutive week.

We miss Ricky or any running back that can hit the hole quickly.

On the flip side.

As I thought our secondary is improving.
Our defense is very good, but once again, no offense is killing them.
We ran some decent playaction plays, but playaction only works when your running the ball, not when you come out in Shotgun formation on 1st down.

The offense looked crisp with Joey, and I would like to see him continue as our starter, however where are our playmakers? is Wes Welker the only player on this offense that is trying to make plays?

I only blame one INT on Joey which was the 1st one he threw.

Daunte might be on the bench for awhile.

I do think we can beat the Jets, but I also think that this team is Fragile right now, especially if the so-called locker room split over starting qb's is happening.

Still a fan, still 100% behind this coach and staff, just think that we as Miami fans are spoiled and fickle, and should be patient.

The media created this hype they did the same thing to Buffalo last year.

Nice job. Agree on all parts. Just wish I had the meds to keep me even keeled yesterday!

I think Mare and his big fat salary have overstayed their welcome too. I think with the way we played, Saban is in control still. He just needs to make sure the Qb thing doesn't turn into a big negavtve controversy.

I was pretty angry with Mare too. Might be time to look for a new kicker in the offseason.

mare is garbage. he was great his first few years but has been very ordinary(aside from kickoffs) the last several yrs. ronnie brown is very, very ordinary. he is nowheres near what i expected. the sad truth is new england has no receivers, we shut down their running game and they still won fairly easily. we are not even in the same galaxy with them.

They won because they have good defense and our offense is still trying to find itself. You act like they had good offensive production or something. It wasn't, it was actually kind of bad they just didn't have to go far due to the turnovers.

Mare has to go. He's cost us what could have been the tying points in two different games already. Get a young kicker in the offseason. Mare is just one of the older, underachieving players that needs to be cut or traded.

And just what were your expectations? Brown is playing as best he can behind an offensive line that cannot make holes for him. If you actually watch Brown play, he often turns plays with no gain into gains of three or four yards, even if he's got two or three defenders on him, simply through sheer physicality.

m979, they didn't need good offensive performance. it was a very conservative gameplan. one in which they just let us beat ourselves with the same old mistakes and penalties. they took no chances at all on offense and didn't have to. our offense isn't trying to find itself, it STINKS. we have no running game at all and will struggle all year. 61 points in FIVE games, enough said.

EXACTLY!

when miami drafted ronnie brown i was expecting a dynamic running back. not one who is slooooow getting to the line and has no field vision at all. you go on and blame the line all you want. great running backs make the o-line, not the other way around. did ricky have a good line when he was here? ronnie is not an instinctive runner. if he needs giant holes to run through then he will never do anything here. where is that 4.3 speed he had at the combine? 20 games and counting from ronnie and i have seen nothing that makes me say he is special or the back of the future.

Amen to that. He had a tough day even with the kick offs yesterday. He and his fat salary need to go or restructure. We can use his salary for other needs (safety, cb, ol)

well you do wonder about ronnie. it's sort of like Joey for Daunte. all of a sudden the sacks are not a problem with joey in. some might say the OL played better but we know better. however, ronnie had a bad game, but to his defense, neither team could run the ball effectively because of the chewed up middle of the field, ( check out maroney's stats) and up until this game nobody was blaming ronnie that badly. and the other thing, unlike joey, who do you put in for ronnie?

"Miami fans are spoiled"

How so?????????.What have the Dolphins done in recent years to make us spoiled in any way? Getting our hearts ripped out and stomped on for the last 20+years isnt exactly being spoiled.
