What are the odds that Dansby and Mclain are both fins next year and what would the addition of those to cats plus dumervil do to our defense?

I like the odds of us getting both, but im not sure if they would want to draft a ILB at #12 and pick up Dansby in FA. Im pretty sure they want Crowder as at least the #2. But you never know, im sure the FO will upgrade any position they can if oppurtunity presents itself.

Our D would be extremely upgraded, I think it would be better with E.Thomas at FS though. We need the coverage of Dansby and a GOOD FS. Dumervil is just icing on the cake if he takes Joey Porters spot.

mcclain would also be a good olb

i agree, but we need crowder to stuff the run the guy is a tackling machine, he cannot cover worth a dam, but could stop the run

i dont know if i would consider him a tackling machine, if he was a Tackling Machine he wouldnt miss to many tackles and he would have had more then 51 tackles he is decent and would be a good #2 ILB but IMO that is it

If we sign Dansby I think that we go after a rush LB or a DT in round one. This also means we'll likely look to trade down. Williams and Jerry Hughes would likely be around around pick 20 and Miami could pick up an extra 2nd and draft Spikes if ILB is still viewed as a need, though i'd rather see us go TE and WR in round 2, if we sign Dansby and go defense in the 1st round.

i agree, he is only good for the 2ilb, at best, the other ilb has to be able to cover, because lord knows crowder cannot

I do know Dansby wants to come here, so it's a matter of if Bill, Jeff, and Tony want to pay him.

Crowder ain't a tackling machine. He's good for 1 thing... taking out the fullback in the backfield or putting the first hit on the ballcarrier.

Dansby is going to be 29 mid way through this season. Do you really see the Holy Trinity splashing out FA bucks on someone this age?

If they Do, and considering the constant battle Crowder has with his knees, Dansby would be a very good mentor for McClain (hmmm.. am I changing my mind) We could easily pick up Graham (Michigan) or Norwood (So.Carolina) for OLB in the 2nd giving a mix of youth and athleticism along with Taylor and Wake...

I think Dansby is extremely important to get, for one thing he's not restricted like alot of other players on some peoples wishlists. He makes it easier to handle if McClain is not available, Dansby and Crowder would make a good combo inside. Now if McClain is there, Crowder becomes trade bait an extra pick and having McClain and Dansby would be great.

i think the chances of landing both Dansby and McClain are close to 0 %. the odds of McClain making it to #12 are not the best IMO and we would probably look elsewhere at #12 if we got Dansby anyway.

how bout D.J.Williams? i think the guy is very good himself. went to the U, if he leaves denver for anywhere i think its to come back to miami
