odds are looking good for our fins. +900 as of now if we win the division. im about to put down 100 so if we win the division i walk away with 900. possibly thinkin about layin down 500 and going Ba!!s out but i want your guys' opinion. Im liking the looks of this season and how it might shape out. with all the injuries of other teams so far and with ricky coming back what do you guys think.

Ha, ha, still wish I put down more than 50 bucks for the over/under 5.5 games this season for Miami. Still free money the way I look at it. I also put down 20 bucks for winning the division 12-1 odds, and even 10 bucks to win SB, 100-1 odds.

If you project pointspreads for each remaining game and assign the related probability of winning, we're still much higher than 9/1 to finish behind New England. That doesn't mean it will happen, of course. A 4.5 point favorite is basically 2 chances in 3 to win. An 8 point favorite is 3 in 4. That's how you do it. There is a chart listing each number and how it corresponds to win probability. Many people think pointspreads are useful only in balancing the betting, 50% on each side. That is hardly the case.
