This listless team definitely needs an experienced hand to help guide it toward a hopeful future. For this reason, I feel it is imperative that the next coach have previous HC experience on SOME level. That cuts down the candidate field a bit. Of those with prior HC experience in the NFL or college, which would you select?

Sean Payton
Jim Mora, Jr.
Josh McDaniels
Hue Jackson
David Shaw
Jim Schwartz
Other

Others not included in poll:
John Harbaugh (Doubtful he is available)
Jim Harbaugh (Doubtful he is available)
Gus Malzahn
Todd Haley
Mike Shula
Doug Marrone

Not that I advocate for him but you should probably add Todd Haley to the list

sean payton and hue Jackson both of which I'd want serving as ocs also

todd haley is meant to be a coordinator

After my pipe dream of Harbaugh, it's Payton or Jackson, after those two you can burn the list and pick from a hat.

I don't think harbaugh elevates the qb position nor do I think he's getting fired...but I don't hate it either as an option...his oc choice would be critical

I will go with Hue Jackson right now.

I don't see him getting fired either. I could see a, mutually agreed to part ways, situation.

After Monday, that next coach needs to come in and give an incredible jolt of confidence and what not. I wonder if the energy and hutzpah that Jim Mora Jr. has do just that. I think he stays at UCLA, but he is an NFL guy. Plus, I have no doubt he'd fix the defense by the end of September. Great defensive mind.

I think I lean toward Mora. I really like his personality as a coach and I don't think he really got a fair shake in ATL (after college comments and Vick situation) and Seattle (one season).

I could see him being a Carrol type in his 3rd go around in NFL after college stint.

We need a harmonious FO/Staff

Once we get past the unpleasant fact that Mike Tannenbaum is gonna be the GM or overlord over a hand picked puppet GM like Terry Bradway then this coaching list becomes a lot easier.
We are gonna take a guy that has a relationship with big Mike.

Sean Payton is gonna be the guy if that exit clause exists in his contract.
Not sure if we will give draft picks since Loomis may charge a kings ransom.

Jim Mora jr or Todd Haley exists as fallback options.

Jackson

I definitely think we interview Hue if he is available. Rooney rule at minimum.
I really don't think he comes here though.
