You know, if RT went 9 for 18 for 103 yards and a QBR of 25, even WITH a great rushing attack. He'd be called a bust, and a bus driver, and of course they would be dragging out their ypa charts showing how 5+ yards per attempt means he's finished. DONE! And no deep ball.

Then don't get me started with 4 interceptons, and 7 over the last two games. Sure there were flashes of brilliance and a great comeback win, but he obviously choked when it really counted and just couldn't get it done.

Cute.

We're making quarterback comparisons on the basis of one game?

A good team is balanced like the ocean, with ebbs and flows. When one side slumps, the other carries the load. I guess its been so long since we have had a team like that most have forgotten.

How does Wilson compare to Tannehill in terms of YPA and TD-to-INT ratio in the regular season - the only fair way to contrast them, since Tannehill hasn't seen the playoffs? Hint: you won't like the results.

Lets not ignore that there are very legitimate concerns with the QB play. If you focus solely on the good or bad your objectivity is questionable. What most lose sight over is that he just finished his second year. He has flashed tremendous potential but had some bad moments and the last 2 games were pretty bad.

Unless he completely craps the bed next season he will be the starter in 2015 as well. Keep in mind that it wasn't until Brees' 4th season that he started playing at a consistently high level. With Tannehill showing the potential he has I won't be at all surprised to see him finish his rookie contract as the starter.

No, we're making light of fools who post here after one game, or every game, to claim how the QB numbers for that game mean the QB is a bust. If it's too hard for you to follow the conversation, maybe you should sit this one out.

By the way, we're well aware of your conclusions about RT. And also about how you try to CYA when he's playing great (yeah, you know....). You seem to waste a lot of your life finding and posting numbers, but in the end, you seem to have a difficult time finding the forest for the trees. Either that, or you have an agenda where you knowingly disregard what doesn't fit.

In all fairness after each loss you were making a thread on the same subject. I think we all understand the numbers and have debated this to no end yet for some reason you continue to create a new thread on the same subject weekly.

I'd suggest you do your research a little better. ;)

MadDog- absolutely right. The bottom line is that RT has justified the #8 pick used on him, and most around the league recognize that. We just see all the number crunching know-littles who try to convince others (or themselves) of what they WISH were true.

If I could clone you and make 10,000 mad dog88's... I'd love finheaven.

as it is, half the chat last night was scared to death a thread like this would get made after luck **** the bed, and ironically I'd guess that same half would have made an " i told you we should have sucked for luck thread", if indeed he did not have an explosive diarrhea like game.

FWIW, I share the same opinion as you. tannehill is developing nicely. almost right on schedule acorrding to my standars, and he will be here next year, and yes the last two games sucked balls for him.

there goes madogg88, making too much sense again.

Gravity, or whatever your latest name is, I don't need to look at your numbers. I've actually watched RT and the Dolphins and I understand football. Thanks.

You're welcome. :)

You missed the point.
Actually my first post in the thread supported the point, but it sounds as if the OP couldn't grasp that.
