[SIZE=-1]I like the idea of trading for Trent Green. The guy will be a stop gap until we draft the Quarterback of the Future. If we can't draft [/SIZE][SIZE=-1]Brady Quinn[/SIZE][SIZE=-1] this year we should draft a [/SIZE][SIZE=-1]Wide receiver[/SIZE] or [SIZE=-1]Offensive tackle. The writing is on the wall for Daunte Culpepper.[/SIZE][SIZE=-1]

I dont like the idea of trading for a 37 year old qb, ever. well i guess unless its for a late late round pick. Trent is the same to me as Cpep. If we dont think Cpep can perform this year, then we need to draft either quinn, stanton or edwards in this draft. And then let cleo and our new qb battle in training camp. If we are going to just use Trent as a stopgap then lets just save a pick and let Cpep do that, if that is indeed the case. I am not for trading for Trent Green though, but I am for drafting one of the three qbs i previously mentioned.

I am for drafting Quinn, but I don't think he will fall into our lap. I like the idea of trading a late round pick for Trent and drafting Stanton. And then let Trent, Cleo and Stanton battle in training camp.
 
I'm pretty sure we'll draft a QB on day one...is just a matter of who's on the board when we pick on each round....I'd like Stanton and even Edwards....he had some isues but he's got the potential and Stanton may turn out to be the best QB on this draft regarless of where he's drafted....I think we might have to move up to get him cos he'll be gone before the 40th pick.

I like the idea of Stanton sitting and learning on the bench from Trent for a year or two. Think Kellen Clemens and Chad Pennington. I like the idea of drafting Levi Brown to protect Green and Stanton in the future. Think D'Brickashaw Ferguson.
