While watching the 9er/Bears game, I noticed the 9ers had success with cutbacks while running the ball.. a couple of runs resulted in very large runs..

The Bears linebacker corp is quite similar to ours.. make the running back appear to be running the ball between the tackles and the LB are quick to bite... At the last possible moment, the RB then cuts it back to one side or another and there is no one left to tackle him until he gets deep into the secondary..

If I'm able to detect this from watching the game on television... then surely MM and Saban should be able to see this also after watching all the video.. So lets see how good our coaching staff is by watching closely to the running plays this weekend..

We have running plays in our playbook?

Yes, but if you can see this on television, I'm sure the Bears defense can also see this and try to correct it before next weekend (they watch film of the games too you know). Just because it worked for the 49'ers doesn't mean it will work for us. Don't get me wrong, MM should try it, but don't expect the same results that the 49'ers had.

Plus, I'm sure we'll abandon the run game after the first 7-10 yard gain anyway.

I guess :tantrum: would better describe it then? But then again, :sidelol:

After reading enough articles and listening to some analysts break us down...I'm afraid I've been swayed a little to putting blame on Mularkey instead of blaming the fact that we've been down on every game for the reason why we don't run the ball.

If I was Mularkey I would mix it up any way and lose that way then to lose and abandon the run game altogether. This way if we aren't able to run the ball, he can say, "Well, now you see why I would abandon it?"

:(

Yeah..

We have like 10 running plays and some of them are really good, we used then twice a game. GO DOLPHINS!! :dolphins:

This game is going to be painful to watch. We should just start the third string so none of our starters get hurt

Can we just forfeit this one??....

I'm not sure I'm prepared for a 40-0 loss. Especially after coming off two weeks of preparation. The Bears defense alone will win this game, and after seeing what they did to the 49er's, we're in for a very long / painful night on both sides of the ball in my opinion...

I'm only joking about forfeiting, but I'm not looking forward to this one at all. Let's just pray they can come out and play a smart / disciplined game for 60 minutes, without beating themselevs for a change. If they can do that, they should be able to give the Bears a solid game. Otherwise, this will be a blowout, and possibly our worst loss of the season....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

Yes, then we can use the same excuse that the PATs used on us the last game of last season... "we only lost because we didn't play our starters"...

yes of course we do. we have the end-around, the reverse, and also when mularky wants to get crazy, we have run-up-the-middle. then also you could throw in the flea-flicker as a running play since usually our offensive line doesn't protect long enough for Ronnie Brown to pitch it back to the QB.

it is certainly more diverse than our passing game which consists of dump-off passes to wes welker and ronnie brown.

:sidelol:

I am almost scared to watch the Bears-Dolphin's game but I think I will put on my Dolphin's jersey and wear it to a Bear's sportsbar near me. The Bear's fans are actually pretty nice compared to the idiots that root for the Jets, Raiders and Cowturds. I think the bottom line is we cannot turn the ball over against the Bears. If we can do this and play for 60 minutes we have a shot. Nobody has blown us out this year....we just have to play the way the Cardinals did during the first three quarters against the Bears.

I say BIG UPSET!!!!!! :dolphins:
