This mornings 8:30 practice I noticed Rex Hadnot and LJ Shelton on the second unit and Drew Mormino and Anthony Alibi on the first unit. Maybe their experimenting?

As Saban would say (yuck, but true in this case), dont take much from the "depth chart" at this point. Its purely seeing who will fit where and giving everyone an opportunity. For all we know, Rex and LJ will be back in there this afternoon.

Im sure Cam will address it in his presser, and say something to this effect as well.

I'd think that with all of Cam's talk about how Hadnot "having the sky as the limit" at RG, this is just experimenting/lighting a fire under he and Shelton.

It's simply a case of getting guys reps at different positions, next to different players. It's been happening all summer.

Cam values versatility on his line. Guys have to be able to play at least two positions. Injuries will force some of these guys to play together. Odds are at least one guy will see game action at multiple positions over the course of the season. Happens ever year.

Nothing major, other than it's interesting to hear where they're putting guys. :)

Practice is the time to experiment, it means nothing. The coaching staff simply wants to see everything every which way.

to go along with what muck said , i think Cam is trying to see who can play more then one spot and who cant . if we have guys that can play muiltiple positions then that is good but unortunately we may have guys that cant play one position good at all.
like saban always says some people have the brook trout look and some dont.:D
