Anyone know about Mularkey and pulling lineman plays. I never got to see any of the preseason On TV. (I know preseason is real vanilla) I think I remember the Steeler doing it alot but I'm not sure about about the Bills. I guess the question is will Miami pull more or less this year? Just trying to get a better feel of the offense.

I think they will do more pulling than last year, but Mularky may wait until the line jells a bit more before making ramoant use of it.

He certainly made poor use of it on the one yard line, it cost us a TD. Don't remember which preseason game it was now, I think Carolina.

There's no way Anderson can pull. The few times I saw him pull he was way to slow for the RB. hadnot on the other hand looked great pulling out and head hunting in front of the RB...

I'd say about the same amount, with Hadnot and James the leading suspects again. Drafting Joe Toledo, who has the makings of a fine pulling guard seems to reinforce this.

It's kind of surprising how well Hadnot can pull, given that he had one of the worst 40 yard dashes I've ever seen, something ridiculous like a 5.50.

wow, I had no idea he was that slow. He must just have quick feet. Maybe that agrresiveness adds alittle bit to his time when he see's a LB in front of him. . Maybe that is how they should clock him next time...

They had a guard pull on the goal line vs. the Panthers, it was real ugly, Brown ran right into the back of the lineman and the O line got no push, bad bad bad.... hopefully, they will execute it better than they did on that play.

I saw some pulling plays throughout the preseason and nobody seems to do it relatively well other than Jeno James and Vernon Carey, which still aren't great. Everyone seems always late...most of the time not even getting a helmet on a guy. If we're going to attack the Pittsburgh run defense it's gotta be in between the tackles. There DE's do a great job of controlling the LOS and with Porter, Polamalu, and Taylor on the edges it's tough to run on them there. One thing I envy about Pitts' defense is how well there DBs tackle. It doesn't matter who it is, but all of them aren't afraid to come up and make a tackle...something Saban was very critical of our DBs not doing a good job of last year.

Most importantly, just keep Joey Porter away from Daunte. I think he truly intends to kill every QB he plays against.

I may be a lil out of line here but how much influence will Mike have on the line? Im sure all the coaches work together but Mike giving HH advice is like a little leaguer giving Derek Jeter bunting instructions.

Our best pulling player just got put on IR. Joe Toledo. He pulls a hamstring, a bicep, an acl.Name it he can pull it.
