are said to be the deepest group in 24 years by one NFL personnel guy. I think this gives a clue to the Dolphins recent treatment of Hadnot. NFL Network is saying there could be 8 OTs drafted in the first and high second round. The more I see the Long kid from Michigan the more I like him. And I also like Chris Long as well. Either one I wouldn't scream about. I think the Dolphins are going to build around Carey and Satele, and everyone else is expendable that is on the roster. Wilson could develop, but the rest are history I think, and there aren't exactly many of them after all the cutting. Parcells is going to build from the inside (both lines) out and this year will start that process.
The only thing uncertain is what they think of Beck. That will determine the first round. If they are ok with him they will take a OL or DL period. After seeing Jake Long I am convinced that he very well will be that guy. A left tackle for 10 years in the league.

There are Alot of Talented OT in this years draft i dont think we should draft Jake long #1 overall because we can just draft a Good one in the 2nd or 3rd round

Carl Nicks, and Barry Richardson are my targets.

I really like Carl Nicks. After his showing during the Senior Bowl week where he showed that nasty streak and then comes to the Combine and runs under 5.20 in the 40 at 341 lbs. Impressive. The only question is...can he play LT in the NFL or will he have to start out as a RT and then transition over to the left.

Yup its a big question mark if he can even play LT. He lacks footwork but he has alot going for him. but at the Senior bowl he held is own on every down he was in.

Nicks will have to start at RT for at least a season before he can switch over IMO.

I really like the OT from BC Gosder Cherilus he looks like he would be good

Gosder is more of a Run Blocking RT. I wouldn't mind him at 32 if he was there.

Yea thats true, sign me up on that. I hope we could wait a round or 2, we can still get a true and solid player i 3 round.

Anyway I don't feel it would be bad to take a future LT star in first round, but I hope we could fill up some other positions.

Why don't we put Carl Nicks at guard?

If I had alot of draft choices and we decide to target the O-line I'd get...

#1 Jeff Otah and switch him to guard
#1 Chris Williams LT
#2 Carl Nicks switch to guard or Brandon Alberts G

at some lower point if we don't have anyone yet

Andrew Bain or Robert Felton or Kerry Brown

LT Chris Williams
LG Jeff Otah/Branden Albert
C Samson Satele
RG Carl Nicks
RT Vernon Carey

Brown would be happy, so would Beck.

You don't draft a good one...at least a LT...in the 2nd or 3rd round...thats no different than trying Alabi again.

Chris Williams, Carl Nicks, Anthony Collins, Barry Richardson, Tony Hills, Godser Cherilus, Heath Benedict, John Greco, Tyler Polumbus, Sam Baker.... I could keep going, but I'll stop right there. This draft class is crazy deep with OT's!

I wouldn't be shocked at all if both of our second rounders went towards the OL.
