Offensive rookie rankings

Interesting that Clady is rated above Long......
I agree. I don't know how accurate that may or may not be since stats aren't really a part of the OL. They do mention sacks allowed but that's not necessarily an accurate measure without watching the tape because things like double teams, type of play, etc. make a lot of different variables. Not having seen any of Clady other than the us beating them at Mile High I can't argue it's wrong but I'll still take Jake the Giant anyday.

Especially after that hole he and carey created last week. Moses could have led the Israelites through that gap.

Clady is IMO the better LT right now he is a monster but Long is still really good to but i do think Clady is better

Ehh, yea he has had the better start . . . but we haven't even begun to see Jake in the run game yet . . . wait until teams start respecting Chad P even more . . . that run game is gonna open up and Jake will prove to be a beast on the left side.

As far as pass pro goes . . . I think he actually has done better than anybody expected him to . . . he has been very solid and he will only get better.

Jake, overall is the more complete LT.

I think they're pretty even but Jake has the higher ceiling. He's so much stronger it's silly. Clady is going to be a zone blocking mobile pass protector his whole career. Jake has the potential to be as good as it gets.

I think Jake is the better LT right now and i'm willing to bet bet if you watch the film you'll see Shanahn probably gives Clady help on the line or in the backfield in every pass rush situation but I see Jake given alot of responsibility in those similar situations because our rb's and te's are such a huge part of our passing game.

Denver's passing game is mostly about their wr's so they will leave their te's and rb's in to help protect the qb. But i've only seen denver three times this year so that's just my opinion based on their stats and what i've seen.

Seriously, how many of you have watched Clady ENOUGH to be able to dispute the rankings? either way Jake was the #1 pick and Jake is the highest paid lineman in the game and Jake SHOULD be at the least clearly over Clady.

I really hope Henne works out so we don't have that ill feeling for many years on passing on (1st) Quinn (2nd) Ryan

And a clear cut #1 is Matt Ryan.

Pisses me off everytime I see the highlights. I'm waiting to see him fall apart and it just isn't happening. Jake has been very good, but a Franchise QB.....man I hope Henne shows something big in the next couple years.

Maybe it's just me but I did not find any of those rankings to be offensive at all. I wasnt even mildly offended.

We all know you're a Matt Ryan fan, but how well would he be doing in Miami with Carey at LT and a no-name at RT? Cause that's how the team would have looked if we drafted Ryan. No LTs were left after the first round, and we may not have gone after Penny. I guess with your theory, we'd being looking at a 2 or 3 win team right now. No thanks.
