Anyone agree with that Booker, Chambers & McMike need to restructure their contracts. I know just about about every year JT & Zach restructure to try to get the team in a Salary Cap area. I think its time some of our underachieving Wr's/TE do a little restructuring to help out the team. Now granted I know these guys havent had the best QB's throwing to them but come on. The numbers they put up last year were just flat out horrible. I also think if they dont restructure that we look at cheaper options like Jerry porter most likely.

16.5mil for booker, chambers, Mcmike, this might be the top 7 trio in the league as in money. but not production.

I will pay the 17.5mil for JT & Zach even though they are older than for the underproducing trio.

Dont get me wrong I am not saying they are not good I am just saying that they are not producing and should be the ones trying to restructure to help make cap room for the team.

I agree. They are definitely overpaid considering there performance. I would have no problem trading any of those three guys if you could get a decent value back. However I couldn't see us getting anything better than a third rounder back for any of those guys. It would be better to hold on to them and see if Cam can work some of his offensive magic on them.

You have to be careful with who you re do and how far out you push the money. Sometimes its just best to keep the contract the way it is .

I think funny as people line up name one after the other for restructure. It`s done mostly by high earning vets not guys seeing their first big check.
Also,in most case if the player does not issue a willingness to redo the contract, status quo will stand as you do have the option to cut the player and eat the cap hit.

I will be very suprised if you get more than 1 players to redo the contract.

You should do be careful what you wish for. Porter is a very destructive force on a team. Not quite the cancer like TO, but only because he's not as talented.

We can trade Booker and Chambers and Mcmicheal but they have to be packaged with draft picks. I'm fine with trading away all our second day draft picks. Why??? Because we have so much talent returning to our organization from IR and suspension that chances are our late round picks wouldn't make the team anyway. Take a look some time at all the players we are going to have. Ricky,Toledo,Mckinnie,Anderson,Wright boys,Will Poole,Mitchell, etc.

JT and Zach will both take a restructure willingly to get to the super bowl. Booker and the Wr crew MUST get down to 10 mil or less. McMike is going to be lucky to have a job after last yrs performance. he should be paid play by play incentive with 700k salary. We are way overpaying our guys at Wr and TE.

Porter made $8,003,080 last year. Booker is slated to make $3,100,000 this year. You think Porter is coming here for less than that?

Mcmikes numbers were adaquate for a TE wut more can u ask from, for a guy who blocked 60% of the time?????
