with the weapons we have on offense what are the odds we end up like the eagles and completly focused on the our pass.

I doubt there's any chance. We have Ronnie Brown chomping at the bit and I believe Saban is going to want a more balanced attack. If you focus on one facet of offense, so can the opposing defense...

IMHO...

With Culpepper we now have a chance too be balanced. No one was that worried before about our QB's skill.

I feel we will be very balanced to the point where we will run for the win or just as readily pass for it.

With the size of the o-line and Mularkey's physical style, I think we'd be more apt to run the ball later in games (when leading) and mix it up more during the first 3 - 3 and half quarters. Who's gonna wanna be tackling Ronnie Brown behind that huge line all day, especially late in games in the heat?

We will stay balanced. Ronnie is too big a threat on the ground to get away from the running game and get too pass happy. With the threats we have throughout the offense, it would be foolish to lean heavily one way or the other. I think Culpepper will excel in an offense where the pressure isn't squarely on his shoulders to get it done. And think of how dangerous the play action will be if (and when) we run the ball successfully.
You also have to consider that Culpepper isn't going to be 100% - probably all season. So having him drop back 60%-65% of the time would be asking for something bad to happen.
Our run/pass balance will/should be split 53%-47% one way or the other.

No way we focus too much on the pass, Saban & Mularky are too smart for that, Ronnie and the OL are too talented for that. Nutty idea.

In Saban We Trust!

I don't see the Dolphins doing so for two reasons:
1) Ronnie Brown
2) Mularkey (and Linehan, who contributed a lot to the Dolphins' playbook) likes to mix up pass and run to keep the D guessing.

yea it was a pretty stupid question
was takin a piss and thought of the eagles

Not a chance. Our offensive sucess will depend on Ronnie Brown this year. He is the catalyst for this football team and will really determine what kind of offense this team will have.

I believe we will stick to whatever works. If we are passing effectively then we will pass. If we are running effectively then we will run.

If both are working, we will do both.

If nothing is working, break out the trick plays.
