I hope that we don't get an OC from the outside with new terminologies and X's and O's for our offensive players to learn again...It will be like last year all over again...
Cold at the beginning then Hot at the end when the players feel comfortable in the system.

I don't want a setback and I hope someone from the inside gets the nod...Don't be surprised if Bobby Williams(running backs coach) becomes the OC.

I imagine the aggressive, deep-ball philosophy will stay the same, as well as the personnel molds for each position. It's just maybe the terminology, person, and playcalling tendencies will change.

Wow, like anything else with change, some of it will be bad, and some good. Hey, ain't Mullarkey (however you spell it) out there on the unemployment line?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Linehan hire Baggett as his offensive coordinator. But I'm hoping we hire someone from WITHIN to keep Linehan's system going next year. In fact, I hope this is Saban's philosophy on defense too, so that we won't have to keep changing systems in the future. Not that Saban would throw out the 3-4, but if he hires Capers, Saban will have an assistant right behind Capers and ready to go if Capers moves on.

Linehan can't hire bagget as his OC unless saban aloows him to talk to him and let him go.. bagget is going to st. louis as a lateral move so there for he cant take him unless saban says he can.. also bagget wont go cause he will be our new OC

Wel, unlike Linehan, Capers has been a head coach and shown that he isn't good at it. not much room to move on from OC if you can't HC. so hopefully if we get him, he'll stick around for at least a few years.

anyways, i'm not concerned with capers right now. i just wanna know what we're gonna do to fill linehan's spot. we couldn't he have stuck around for at least 1 more year....

Jason Garret dosen't know linehans system that well .. he was only with him for a year.. i think if sban wants to keep linehans system intact he goes with charlie bagget becasue he was with linehan all his days in minnesota
