Official 2015 Power Rankings Thread

Junc I know it's hard to stop talking about the Jets when it seems like everyone eggs you on about them. I get that point. Trust me, after all these years I get it.

But as I suggested and you alluded to, please take this **** elsewhere. This isn't the right thread for the non-ending pissing contest you and half the board get into.

A cool options on this site, a add on to an existing perk if you will, would be a ignore JUNCs post + the 5 subsequent pages... because the ignore alone doesn't cut it in his case...

Edit: JUNC please ignore me, I mean really... PLEASE! You won't ever gain anything from reading my posts so just ignore me and stop wasting you're time writing me those stupid rep comments...

I shouldn't have to put him on ignore. I do like engaging with him on certain topics but this particular thread isn't meant for talking about the Jets.

Yahoo Sports

9. Miami Dolphins (1-0, LW: 9)

A win is a win, although that one in Washington was sloppy. It makes no sense, however, why Lamar Miller had nine carries before the Dolphins' final drive to run out the clock. That needs to change.

Last Week: 15 The Dolphins squeaked out a win, but big-money free agent Ndamukong Suh didn't make a big difference. The Dolphins allowed the third-most rushing yards in Week 1 (161).

CBS Sports - Pat Kirwan

13 - Dolphins: Ryan Tannehill looked pretty average, and I don't see any game breakers on offense, but where was this vaunted run defense led by Ndamukong Suh? This should have been a statement game for the Dolphins, but they fell flat.

After Sundays performance that deserves to be lower. 1-0 can't complain! Better to make adjustments to a win than a loss

ESPN

Dolphins up 1 spot

14 - Jarvis Landry might not have put up huge receiving numbers, but man oh man was that a clutch punt return in the fourth quarter Sunday. Speaking of Miami pass catchers who dazzled in Week 1 matchups with Washington, anybody remember which Dolphins wideout lit up the Redskins for 178 yards and two scores on opening day in 1984? (I'm talking to you, old-school Fin fans. Hit me up @HarrisonNFL.) Oh, and this Dolphins defense could rank in the top five before 2015 is over.

I was surprised by the Bills performance, but this guy moved them up 11 spots to #6 in his rankings... Unreal.

Yea, I'm impressed by the Bills, but that's a bit of a knee-jerk reaction to 1 game. Along with dropping the Colts 7 spots. Not saying it can't happen, but let's see some consistency before that kind of move. This guy will drop the Bills 3-4 spots after losing to the Pats and move the Colts back up a spot or 2 after beating the Jets anyways...

Surprise! Dolphins move up one spot in NFL Power Rankings

The Miami Dolphins get their first surprise of Week 3. The team actually moved up one spot to No. 15 in ESPN's NFL Power Rankings after an ugly, 23-20 defeat to the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars.

The small improvement doesn't make much sense.

The Dolphins (1-1) fell behind the lowly Jaguars (1-1) 17-6 in the first half before eventually suffering their first defeat of the season. Miami looked awful in the loss to Jacksonville and had an uneven performance in a Week 1 win against the Washington Redskins. It's a long season, but the Dolphins do not look like a team that is improving week to week.

But it is clear ESPN's voting panel is giving the Dolphins the benefit of the doubt after laying an egg in Jacksonville. This team has a lot of talent, and it's a matter of the coaching staff putting it together to get the most out of its roster.
