This is the official support thread for Chad Henne. All of you who want to label the man a bust after not even one half of football, feel free to post somewhere else. This thread is specifically for Dolfans who have faith in the team and the QB that the TRIFECTA has put their faith in. Chad Henne has all the tools necessary to become a quality starting QB. Parcells and Ireland would have never drafted Henne if he wasn't. Remember, Parcells drafted Pennington in NY. He knows football. Anyone who says Bill Parcells doesn't, needs to seriously stop typing. Miami is 0-3, but I think we all should still have hope for this season. Anything can happen, which is why the NFL is so damn great. Miami can rattle off 10 wins a row. Anyone want to say it's not possible? It is.

Henne, Miami is behind you. Don't worry about the one or two "fans" who want to label you a bust already. They don't know what they are talking about. Make us proud, Chad. We are behind you 110%.
 
Chad Henne has my full support. I have high hopes for him at this point.
 
Go Chad! You've been patient, take your oppourtunity now man, this your time. I'll be rooting for you. Go make us proud and get this team going.

I have a feeling in a years time there will be a lot of #7's in the stands.

Rooting for my team's new starting QB? Why...when its so much easier ripping him apart when he hasn't had a chance?
 
Never seen a qb get so much flack without ever starting an NFL game.
 
Well it seems Finheaven will rejoin as a whole now. No more "Henne Over Pennington" and "Pennington is better" threads. Chad P, you did a lot for us, and most of us can't thank you enough. But ultimately, we just learned why the Jets got rid of you. Thanks anyway.

As for Chad H.- The QB position is a tricky position to learn. Have a short memory, and just have confidence. We here want you to be our franchise QB... No, NEED you to be our franchise QB for at least 10 years.

And to Finheaven- Be patient. It's going to get ugly this year. We will probably see more pick 6's. We just went from a possible 8-8 team to 4-12, 3-13. We'll be a hell of a team next year if Henne turns out to be what we all hope he can be. We still have many holes to fill, and we can only pray that QB isn't one of them.
 
Here's a wish for an "outstanding career" as the new Dolphin QB. I feel Chad H. is ready and will do a fine job. When Chad P's shoulder heals I hope the best Chad will be given the starting job whether his last name is Henne or Pennington. We need to start winning games now before the season becomes meaningless.
 
With a full week training with the first team and time to prepare for the Bills, I expect a much better showing out of Henne on Sunday.
 
I Want to wish Henne nothing but the best of luck, and hope that the trifecta made the right call in drafting the guy, we will not really know until he gets his feet wet and has the opportunity to practice with the first team offense and play in a real game. Good Luck Henne i am Hopping you are the real deal.
 
Well here is the thing with the people who were bashing Henne. They jumped all over the fact that Pat White was listed as the number 2 QB and bypassed Henne. This puts and end to that crap!

I think this is a blessing is disguise. It forced the hands of the powers that be, and now we will see what Henne has. Peeny is a great leader, motivator, and mentor for Henne and White, but let's face it Penny wasn't going to lead us to a SB this year or in the future. Weather you think Henne has the goods or not is beside the point, beacuse now we will find out. I hope it works out and he is the QB we have been looking for, if not at least the mystery will be over and we will know what we have, and what we've got to do. I didn't want Penny to get hurt, but for the good of the team and it's future, it might have been the best thing for us. We shall see.
