What is a torrent ? Basically it a file sharing system.The way it works is that a fellow member records the game,edits the commercials, compresses the result into a digital file which is then uploaded to a bittorent site.


To download a copy of the game You need to first install a client (Program).Then you open the torrent file (A text file which gives instructions to your client) and it will start loading the video file on your HD.Here is a link to the official client

In order to see the game on your PC you will need to install the Divx codecs.That only comes into play after the load is complete and you want to see the game on your PC player.BTW many standalone DVD players can also read Divx files if you want to burn the file to a CD..Here is the link for the codecs.

Since this is Sage's first career start, I will be able to seed it for about a week or so, but then need to start throwing all the games from my pc to disk so I can clear way for next season's games and preseason and such. That and a certain someone over my shoulder is mad because I won't let her fill my hardrive with stupid stuff because I need room for the games :)

Yes I did, but it was a verbal owned, much like a bluff, because if she doesn't cook, I hide the car keys so she can't go shopping, etc... its all a playful war with her and I when it comes to football...just such a shame that she is a Cardinals fan because she likes their all red uniforms, so I got owned when Arizona beat Miami for about 3weeks :cry:
 
you should wait till the torrent is up before you post these threads crunch... what happens is 30+ people post in these threads before the torrent is up, then you have to go digging to find the torrent link.

on a side note, did you ever get that rams torrent back up for me?

The torrent link will always be included in the thread post.We start these threads early to generate interest .Why would we go through this if there is no interest.This is particularly true for Jax who has to do most of the work.We have had as many as 170 downloads for one game and and as little as 8 copies for another.Hardly worth the effort.

Another reason for doing it early is to prevent a dozen threads asking if there are any torrents for the game .Early on in the season we had several members who wanted to upload separate different torrents which resulted in confusion and a lack of concentrated effort.

Anyway since this is the last game torrent for the season I want to thank all who have participated particularly Jax and Kenny Stang who have been on these torrents practically from the beginning.

I have bad news. Something must've hiccuped on my pc during the game. All I have recorded is the 4th quarter to the end of the game. 10:24 remaining, right after the Minor no called TD.

Less than 1/4 of the game.
